Nice puzzle game. I like the work gone into the ant model.

Love the graphics and the aesthetics of the game in general, great work with it! Maybe the walking could have been a bit more crunciher on that kind of terrain, the sound of it, but overall liked it!

Really nice puzzle game. I didn't see the theme returning though but still really good. I liked the pixelated theme alltough it was a bit to much on my screen.

Wow, making puzzles is so hard. You managed to do some sketchy levels here. Love it!

It's been a long time since I played a Sokoban, thanks for the memories !
What I really enjoy is the revert key. Thanks for that;)
The graphics have their style, it looks a bit low-res to be, but the Ants are nice
I suppose you needed a certain time designing the levels, congrats for that.
In the end, I think it lacks some fun on the long run, but it's some good work !

Wow, that's a good piece of work here, the graphics and the audio are really good, and the level design is well done. The mecanics are appearing progressively, that's nice.
With that color choices, the goal is really identifyable, appearing pretty clear.
The two points I would like to see improved is, first the design of the elements, that's not clear what they do before using them, and make the yellow sand less agressive to my eyes. Thank you for this game :)

Very hard game right off the bat, but if I were a smarter individual this game would be a lot of fun. Some of the mechanics are strange to figure out but once you get the hang of it, its nice. Beautiful game graphically.

Great sokoban with some twists! Maybe rotating every level so the exit has the same orientation makes it more intuitive.

I really loved the game, I'm not terribly great at puzzle games so I didn't finish it. Great job!
the only improvement I could suggest is making it feel like the water is a requirement in every level. I accidentally completed a few and didn't get the water.

Pretty unique artstyle. Hard game.

Tough game. The graphics are really neat, though! I got stuck in a hole and wasn't sure how to restart the level without restarting the whole game, though! And yeah, the water wasn't a requirement on all levels it seems - i totally buried it on one.

Great job though!

Fun puzzle game, I really liked the mechanics, specifically going back in your steps instead of restarting the whole level. Really nice entry!

thanks all for playing and for your kind comments !

@ethebakesmith the water is not mandatory to finish the game. I wanted to make that you need to fetch at least one every 3 level and return to the colony to give it and if you don't have at least one the colony will die but I didn't had the time. So it's just to have a happy queen at the end.

@likai if you press backspace you go back to your previous moves (up to 25 moves in the past) if you hold backspace you restart the level from the beginning.

@pastelgames & @manimal can you be more specific about what part of the game was hard and/or strange to you ? I'm planning to improve it in the future so I need all the critics I can get and specific ones if possible :)

@nakami especialy a difficulty curve should not be so steep, maybe add some hits,
i like how you can get back in time :)

Nice game with good atmosphere of desert, created by good visuals and embient sound. I really like the aspect that it give you more mechanics step by step. But I think the pits which I can jump over, and pits, which I can't should be distincted somehow - I can't plan my way ahead and I have to fail at the level at least once. Also sometimes I just can't see where to go in this graphics. But it is fun game overall.

@bredian First thanks for playing !
Second for the pits you can jump over every one of them but:
1. you have to "gain momentum" by having at least one free space between the start of your movement and the pit.
2. you can't jump over two pits in a row, you must have at least one free space between each pits you jump over.
3. note that a filled pit count as a free space ;)

Love the art style, it's really striking.
Also a fan of the fact momentum is a game mechanic. I feel it's different than most games of this type. A neat twist.
Great job, really liked it!

I really like the art. The puzzles were well-done too. Your added obsticles were interesting but understandable. The puzzles got too hard for me around third cactus level but I never felt like I didn't understand how the game worked.

the graphics are great, at first i thought it was an adventure game, but only with the 3rd scene i realized that it is a puzzler. Great job, keep it up.

It's not everyday that you see a retro looking 3D game in LD. Great game, the ant model looks really polished and well done. I also really enjoy the ambient sounds you've added in the background as well.

Nice take on the theme and good implementation of your concept! Graphics are very nice and makes me wonder how you achieved it. Super cool 3D/pixel look.

Well done!

Quite a unique take on the genre with the momentum mechanics!

Very minor complaint: my muscle memory always makes me use "R" as a restart key, at first I even thought that there is no restart button. :) It's nice that it's forgiving and allows you to undo single steps though.

Beat it! :sunglasses:

Great entry, with some challenging and well paced puzzles, even if I could skip some of them accidentally; luckily I managed to get enough water for the colony

The art style was just beautiful, probably from my top 10 this edition.

Amazing work, congrats! :D

I really liked the puzzles, filled with many different mechanics and interesting outcomes. The pixelated style is super cool, but it made me a bit confused in the beginning to be honest. Also, going out through a tunnel and then falling from the sky felt in the change of levels felt a bit weird. But overall, really nice game! :D Had fun playing.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, but I couldn't take the drop of water in the last level even if I ran through it. Was that intentional or a bug?

@blumerang thakns for your review !

I have a question: to take the water you have to finish your movement on it. Running through doesn't let you the time to collect it. Can you explain how you manage to run trough it, I just test it and I don't find how to do it only how to stop on the water ? (e.g. right, left, up, left, etc)

I really like the graphics. It works pretty well. It's voxel with a pixel shader? The mechanic is nice, it reminds me pokemon blue. :)

This is very good - the grungy voxel graphics fit the insect theme very well and the levels are cleverly designed. I've made a few of these Sokoban-likes myself for Ludum Dares and the momentum based approach in this is a fun twist to it.

The audio is nice and atmospheric, though it'd be cool with an actual background theme. If you do expand on it, some plants with e.g. swaying animation would make the world come further alive!
