The gameplay is simple but fun, I liked the character and zombie art and the changing sprites as they take damage was a nice touch. The level backgrounds were pretty repetitive and boring, some environment variation would make this so much better. Having 1-2 other types of enemies (maybe one that can charge at you or explode on death etc.) would make it fun to play for longer. Also a sound effect or animation or some kind of timer indication for reloading the gun would make a big difference in polish. The enemy AI is pretty easy to exploit by shooting from outside their aggro range, making them aggro when they get hit would be a good fix for that.

Plain and simple. The problem is that I caused a lot of tunneling effects, meaning I went through the walls :(, but despite this is fun tu play. Congrats.
Check our game too :) https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/46/and-weep-above-an-endless-grave

Fun and enjoyable game. After some time the necessity to reload gun started to be irritating. I would consider adding guns with more bullet slots in next levels.

I agree with everything @pandepic said, in particular the AI. I think for a gam jam, instead of trying to do 10 repetitive levels, you should go for 2 or 3 really cool levels, with good level design and 2 or 3 different ennemies (or a boss ?).

And also, I am pretty sure the level 2 had the shape of a cat ! I appreciated the humor of the game =)

@brandon-gonzalez yes, level 2 is a cat. I though no one would notice it!

You already witnessed me on the stream playing your game (thanks for dropping by!) but I thought I write you some lines here as well. Like I said, it's not the most original in terms of mechanics but I liked how strong it was in terms of characterization and humor, especially how the game explains away the lack of levels 😅 Here's my stream from last week featuring the game:
