I loved the progression, great mood, and a very eerie use of the graphics and sound.
A single thing I found a bit confusing, was that the later repeat of the "what is your name" prompt did not recognize the same input (i.e. the player's name) as it did when it appeared the first time.
As SirRed mentioned, each iteration felt sufficiently different to make the player look forward to seeing how that weirdness would be topped in the next.
@sirred Thanks, loved the shoot below you mechanic.
@somnium Thanks, yup, we planned that promt to do something later but we had no time left for that feature, we left it incomplete.
@bottini Thanks! laught so hard with the worker dog and the turbo trash can xd
this is incredible, i did not read the description and went right in attracted by the graphics, and even I must say you perfectly captured the caretaker's work feel.
It gave me chills! not in the classical horror way, but in a clear lost of conciousness way.
It works perfectly as a conceptual piece, and you should be very proud of having such a solid narrative project in 3 days. That said, you should consider extending this, as it simply WORKS.
Bravo!
For such a simple game every single loop was gripping and different. You didn't drag it out too long or pulled any jumpscares, these are the kinds of horror games i love.
Also, can I talk about the **MUSIC**! Definitely the best part of the game. The loop was very satisfying, and it actually only became better when you started messing with it. I'm incredibly impressed.
Thank you for letting me play this. Honestly.
I did wish for a second that there could be more endings, each revealing a little bit of the story behind the game, but I think that might be a bit much to ask for 72 hours.
Pretty suspenseful as well.
Great, Great stuff. Good Job!
You captured his feel really well in game form. A really nice experience.
That ending though...
Also the game started when I clicked on a button other than play.
Then I was unable to play the game again, as it just gets stuck on the input screen.
Really fun game, and really set a tense mood!
Also: No windows in any of the rooms, made the whole thing feel claustrophic, lonely and oppressive.
Really well done!
only camera movement felt little weird- like smooth but glithed a the same time?
I clearly felt the feeling of going crazy. I'm glad you did not go on the horror side but kept on the weirdness one. Congrats !
Also thanks for the feedback <3
i was really sucked in, the mood set perfect and gave my the chill near the end even witout anything happening, felt like something is going to jump on my any moment.
the modeling and game design very impresive in such a short time
nice Job!!!
Thank you everyone for the amazing feedback, we are so happy you enjoyed this "unusual" kind of experience, we've played your games too and they are all amazing, having a lot of fun with all the diferent ideas and mechanics, greatings from México
It's inspired by the Theme of the game jam ! (I played too many games that weren't even using a little bit of the theme for this jam so it worth mentioning ...) It's a full adventure loop with creepy mood. Great Job !
Sound volume was a bit high though...
When the voices started I got into the corridor as soon as I can to back up to the wall thinking I was in for a scare. Found there was one wall with no collision on it and fell out of the map.
It does have the feel there was more you wanted to do but as you said time can cause some ideas to be cut, a short back and forth conversation with the console would be fun along with different endings.
Overall it was a brilliant experience to... I 4g0t what I w@s 5ay1ng
@wegpast We're glad you liked it! Thanks for the feedback, we will lower the volume in the next build we upload.
@jammygunns FATAL ERROR: T%HANK!S FO?R T#E FEEDBA%CK&... Glad you liked it! And thanks for the implementations we could make in a new redesign of the game, do you remember where was the wall without collision so we could fix it? hehe, thanks for the support <3
@sharks Glad you got a different approach to the horror genere, I know jumpscares are kinda cheap (if not used in a way to tell the story) I could recomend you some horror short games that doesn´t relly on jumpscares if you want, anyways thanks for the support and the feedback!
Well f*cking done!!!
Very immersive experience, maybe on the same level as the music you were inspired by, just in another format and... quicker.
No flaws I can talk about honestly. Chapeau bas! Thank you so much for your tremendous work in this short timeframe! u_u
