Racecar racecaR by Russ Moonbase
How to Play:
Try to finish the race before time runs out. Each completion of a lap spawns 2 past versions of yourself (one going forward and one going backwards). Don't let your current self touch your past self or it can lead to devastating consequences.
If you finish the race before time runs out then you broke the loop. The countdown timer will now be your completion time.
Controls:
W = Accelerate
S = Reverse
A = Left
D = Right
Space Bar = Brake
Right Shift = Drift

I could never get turning down and on my first lap I flipped on my side and couldn't figure out how to get unflipped.

Couldn't screenshot in time but I had 20s left on the clock when I beat it. I think I could do a lot better with some practice, what was your best time?
The game is fun though. I suspect people will probably dislike the controls but I enjoy a challenge. I like experimenting so I tried a lot of different techniques. The best one I could come up with was start holding drift a bit BEFORE turning to induce slide. I would tap shift in certain ways at the "apex" (I use that term loosely with this game lol) to try to not spin out.
I think the most hilarious and giffable thing in this game is going up the hill but then getting annihilated by a car coming from the other direction. Hilarious especially since you can't see it coming.
Great game, what a great twist on the ghost racer idea!
But car physics and driving are ... meh ... not good at all, what is damage for a racing game ^^'

What's up with some of the ghost driving in reverse?
Very good choice of assets. Kenney assets are always lovely, your car looks awesome, and the music was so good I went and added it to my asset list in Unity (thanks for the discovery).
The game itself is fun, even if the driving was a pure mess to me. I couldn't get the drifting, was always confused as if I should break with space or s, etc...
The explosion in parts with their own physic when you touch a ghost is a very good idea and well executed.

Also one time I ended up upside down, there would be a reset after some seconds cool.
