Never Ending Room by ScarredSceptile

[raw]
made by ScarredSceptile for Ludum Dare 47 (COMPO)

Somehow I managed to make my idea for being stuck in a loop work, however I have lots of gameplay issues. There is a lot of repetition as I ranout of ideas for how to add events to rooms extremely quickly, while also managing to keep the game simple to play. I will apologize if the game seems to not be scaled correctly, as the canvas just did not want to scale like I wanted it to.

If you want to escape from the endless loop, then you will need to do something specific. I won't tell you how to do it, and the clue isn't the easiest to find, however it is kinda easy since you have the source code available. Will you be one who gets stuck in the loop never to get out and give up, or will you find the clue and escape or perhaps you will manage to escape without needing the hint.

There is currently one bug I am awfully aware of, and I have no idea why it is happening, because it is using the same code as other things in the game (Not only the same shader, but the same material). It is only a visual bug, and does absolutely nothing other than maybe changing the mood, or working with it. I don't really know how it will effect players.

Sound is made using sfxr.

Yeah, I gave it up :-) I wish you would use Unity's physics to push objects around. Now it seems they are pushed in some kind of grid, not sure why. It would be so much more awesome and maybe even easier to implement than what you did. Haven't looked at the source code though.

Welp, I guess I finished it...? I tried multiple things to see what made me advance, and I'm not sure what worked - but it did work. Congrats for finishig a game for the compo !
