Great and unique take on the theme, music is calming. Terrifying when you kill them and their corpse says they had a family, what was solution for laughter party? Doesnt seem to have an ending though I got them all. Anyway really unique game, good job.

@digitaldude555 there is an ending! You go back to the concerned citizen at the beginning of the game! Thanks for playing! If you want to know the answer, you could search for "laughter" in the source code github ;)

It's a reference to a song, if that helps!

Excellent idea, and great execution!

This game will make a thesaurus out of you!

Easy to play and pick up- the only advice I have is to

A.) Make the map smaller, or add a map

and

B.) a prompt when you get to the end telling you to press Enter to step forward the mission.

I loved this!

I played after seeing it on ursagames stream. I like the word puzzles! I think I got one wrong and failed to find another. It would have been nice to have some indication of which way to go.

Fantastic! Two for two :D Love the atmosphere and just the way the game makes me feel. Excellent animations and humor, and great implementation of the theme. Some words are way harder to get than others, which is fine, but I want that high score, dang it! And blowing people up never gets old. Great work!

One of the word your supposed to guess was on the tip of my tongue...

Played it live on https://www.twitch.tv/fatsheep__ Really liked the idea of having to type the words yourself, I expected there to be a multiple choice menu, but I was pleasantly surprised. Some of the riddles were kinda funny too, loved this!

Really good. Had to cheat after not knowing haha tried more than once, really nice concept.

I would suggest to indicate somehow how many tries you still left. Maybe tell you the answer when you get it wrong also.

I love this game! There's like three riddles that I still can't solve despite many attempts. I'll look at the source if they don't come to me eventually. :stuck_out_tongue: However, after like 7 playthroughs, with some luck, I was able to get a perfect score!

It's a really innovative concept, well executed, and funny. This is a perfect jam-game; you can see the idea and almost all of the content in a few minutes but it's also fun to replay and try to get a perfect score. I really like the ending text. I was impressed that even on my seventh playthrough I was still encountering new riddles. I loved the music. Awesome job!

They… exploded… 😶

My shock aside, nice game! Lovely music. 💜 This could have easily worked as just a typing game with no setting or graphics to talk about but the fact that you added those as well as a little story adds so much! Character is really nicely animated too, if only in one direction~ Was fun trying to figure out what words they wanted. Nice work!

First time I played, got 10 correct, killed 5. Now I think I'm just gonna use "murder" for all my guesses. Great game obviously, congrats on this compo!
