I liked the visuals! It was very hard to know where the enemies were as they would attack from the very edges rendering it impossible to see them without going really close to them. The characters were really unique and cool though!

The graphics are really nice, though I feel the lighting lets them down a bit. The gameplay itself is pretty good, and the game is totally fun.

Very good 3d art. Walking animation looks a bit strange but thats ok for a compo game. Aiming is hard. Sometimes it doesnt hit enemies even I have clicked on them. Could be much more better with sound effects.

Great little game with surprisingly good 3D for a 48h game jam! Aiming can be tough and huge waves can randomly pop on one single plant. Maybe something like a dash mechanism could have compensated. Otherwise the concept is simple and very well executed, congrats on your release!!

@odeyalko Greedy corporate cyborgs with golden sceptres! I gave them wheels instead of legs so I wouldn't have to spend time animating a walk cycle

Nice little game. Sound and music would've enhanced the experience and overall the difficulty is a bit unbalanced, but nevertheless a fun little experience!

Really fun concept with nice graphics! May be a small minimap or "danger direction" pointer would be nice.

Good art for 48 hour jam! 3D art in a Jam is a very daunting task. I really like the decision to have the player robot waddle. That's definitely a lot of bang for buck! I thought I was good at shooters and your game destroyed me. I did have a hard time hitting the eye ball robots. In your game loop the player has to keep the planters alive and fight off the baddies. You made a decision that eye ball robots can knock you back. In a game, you want the player to feel empowered to overcome all obstacles right? So is this knock back more or less powerful than anything the player has? What if the player had that ability instead? I think the game would still be challenging. What direction would you take the gameplay? Good job on your entry! Thanks for letting me play!

Theme should have been garden, eh ?

Just kidding ah ah, nice submission. As others have mentioned, i'm surprised you were able to pull off such neat 3D models (especially the robot) during the time limit of the compo. Also, the interface with the status of each plant bed was a very welcome quality of life addition. I would have preferred a bit more variation in gameplay though, maybe more enemies or weapons ? Still, pretty good work overall !

Ouch, I suck at this genre, but the graphics were really great! So many enemies though. I couldn't survive for very long at all.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone! I think next time I'll try harder to focus more on gameplay, I always get distracted with the artwork!

@spacewizardj The knock-back was actually a bug because I forgot to set the collider as a trigger on the enemy bullet prefab, but I thought it was more interesting than just doing damage to the player so I decided to keep it in as a feature!

I think if I were to do develop this idea further I'd add more enemy types and more player abilities. I also had plans to add some consoles around the environment that the player would be able to interact with to trigger various ship systems that charge up over time (defence systems to help with crowd control, maybe a watering system to boost plant growth, shields etc.)

Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed my game. Thanks again for all the feedback! :D
