The game feels kinda buggy nevertheless the mechanics you thought of are very interesting I like that

I know, i also feel like it's kinda buggy! I didn't have enough time to fix everything!

game does not reset on d4eath which is annoying. Though fun little game This could go well into a future game i would sugest not having knockback for the enemies. Secondly make it more clear that you are moving.

Just to notify other players, you need to run the game in fullscreen otherwise it has some display bugs.

The music is incredibly fun, the concept is great, and the design around the gameplay is great. The graphics didn't stand out to me (although I love the wobble animations on the models). Really fun and I'd love to see it iterated on more.

As said before the mechanics are interesting and I really love the music as well, makes for a good mood.
The window of the game was too small I had to go full screen to understand what was going on.
Unless I missed it, I haven't seen a retry button, that's the only thing that was missing. Well done!

@kingofnova I wanted to do a restart screen, but i thought about it too late and there were more important things to do!

Took me some time to see that i was moving. If the ground would have a texture than that would be no problem. Also as mentioned it would be great to have a restart possibility once you died.

Cool Concept with the realtime card game.
We didnt manage to restart when we died. There was no menu or something similar.
The contrast was hard to read (on our not so bright beamer)
Nice enemy textures.

Very interesting concept, picking up abilities as you go (or avoiding them, if they are abilities you do not want) makes for interesting decisions during gameplay.

The interface might need some rework. I had trouble figuring out what each UI element meant (besides the health and mana bars).

The "summons" are pretty overpowered right now, they basically managed to defeat the boss without my help :D

@jatdev Yeah that's true, we need to do some nerfs and buffs!

But that was kinda the point, it wasn't supposed to be hard.

Was confusing at first, but when I figured it out I had a good time with it.
A little more of a tutorial would be nice. In addition I don't feel the mana mechanic added anything interesting, it's just a cooldown timer. Being able to spam my moves would be fun.

Well done, and good job on completing a game for the jam!

I found it fun (although yeah a bit buggy). It was a cool idea that you could mix action and cards to attack, and I think with more time and some better graphics/audio it could be really great. Maybe add a bit off a back story to the game in the description. Good job!

Summoning monsters and doing spells with card is a really neat idea! It is nice that the boss comes back after a while so that feels like a loop.

It is still a bit buggy at some points and refreshing the link instead of a restart button can be a bit irritating if you die a lot.

But overall a fun experience!

I like the idea of the game, but I didnt fully understand it. After a couple deaths I figured out the button was Q but I didnt seem to be able to hurt the boss. Either way, well done on finishing the jam!

Good job!

After a few games, once I understood all the elements, I had fun.

It was quite hard to get there though. I understand if you could not put a tutorial or explanations in the game, but you should at least copy them to the itch page I think. Making the game simpler would be a great starting point too. Also, a restart button would be really helpful.

I think you messed up the aspect ratio on the itch page, I can't see everything if I am not in full screen. That should be easy to fix in your itch page!

Thanks for the game and keep up your work!

I'm not sure if I missed something but after dying is there a way to restart without reloading the page?
Nevertheless was fun to play, music was a bit repetitive but hey at least you managed to implement music.

I feel like it doesn`t really fit the theme. Game is pretty buggy, but with some fixes and maybe a tutorial would be playable. Gameplay is fun besides the fact that you have to run into something to shoot its way. Id replace the mana with cooldowns on spells. Idea is cool, but as I said I don`t really feel like it is contained in "stuck in a loop". Good job nonetheless.
