I got the web version to work really well in Microsoft Edge. Chrome was very very slow. I'm working on finding out why!

This is super cute, kero. I'm having some trouble talking to some of the pinecones but maybe after another playthrough of Big Brain Boy I'll figure it out!

@smitto @marco-marchitelli Thank you so much!!
@smitto yes big brain boy will help - did you get the bells/use them?

@exkilu There should be a windows version download at the bottom of the itch page!

@marco-marchitelli I was hoping at least ONE person would make it to the end to get those feels <3

Hi, I loved the visuals and there were a lot of good direction indicators. For example, the Kappa shadows and the particle effects helped me navigate. I was a little confused by the shared wasd controls and music controls, but I got used to it. I liked that you allowed me to walk around even with my instrument up and it'd store my instrument for me. The core gameplay didn't grab me, but it was well done. It reminded me of the Legend of Zelda Flute. Well done!

So there's an end... I didn't find the fourth instrument (am I that bad ?). Anyway this is a really nice game, I especially liked the colors and chill atmosphere, and the creatures are really cute in their style :) No needs to say that the work on the music and sounds is particularly good. AND it was so fun to wake up the creatures by hammering the keyboard ^^ Really good entry !

@garymarance There's no fourth instrument! But the 'square'-ish shape of the tool really suggests that, sorry!
I was gonna add percussion but other things had to be done before deadline.

Charming as usual. Loved your past two LD games and this one is right there with them. Bout to fire up the N64 now and get my Ocarina of Time on so thanks for that. Great entry!

This is so fun!!! I love the idea behind it. It's so calming and made me geek out way too much playing the various instruments!

@eric-lagergren, thank you for playing! @hydezeke noticed early on that it was fun to just chill out and play random tunes, so we really tried to lean into that

These instruments are awesome. They look really cool and it feels good just to sit and play them. Art style matches the relaxing gameplay nicely. Would like to see even longer more challenging songs but I thought the music was great. I couldn't figure out how to beat it but it was fun jamming out with the little critters! Great work!

@daltonleavey Thanks for playing! There's a special surprise at the end——so if you want to get it...try helping the critters, finding the three instruments (Sitar, Bells, and Bass), then search the skies for the Final Challenge

Hi! I played your game on-stream last night. Thank you so much for sharing your game.

The music was beautiful, the instruments were fascinating, the world was engaging and immersive, the characters were adorable. Even considering a couple of moments where I wasn't sure what I supposed to do, this game was truly remarkable. I loved just "jamming" on the instruments. The background music was phenomenal and the ending was bliss. Thank you again for sharing your funky amazing game!

This was such a sweeeet experience. Thank you for crafting this.

The environment was phenomenally created: music and assets worked really well together.
It is true that there were a couple of instances were I was a liiitle bit lost as I wasn't sure why couldn't I find more creatures and kept looking for a hidden swamp. I eventually found the second instrument and realised that if I went back there was a pinecone now! I think what confused me was that the little guy kept telling me to keep playing the song to its people :see_no_evil: but which people?!

That being said, the entire experience was a truly delight to play through. It was unique and original. The cloud moment was...
Thanks guys, it was great!

This is GREAT! I loved this so much that it made me want to make songs. The characters are adorable, and the music is fantastic. In spite of the theme being "keep it alive", the story is peaceful and relaxing. This game is worth 5 stars without doubt. Well done!

Btw do you have a changelog? It seems you have updated the game at some point because there are two windows downloads on the itch.io page, but I can't find it anywhere.

@notan-lemon That's really great! Thank you!

Also my bad on the windows versions - I took it down to 1.

My changelog is basically I just added shadows back into the game (I took them out day 1 because I thought I had screwed up webGL performance, but it turned out that I just had chrome configured wrong).
