- game play was functional, however I didn't really feel like I had much agency or ability to 'play better', is was basically wander around, collecting stuff
- it seems like there might have been some sort of 'loop' between the seasons, but I really didn't get any feeling that I was following through that.
- props for a good menu
- not sure why graphics wasn't opted out of given that the art was from an asset package.
What I would have really like to see is some sort of bonus for traveling in season order or some other way that the seasons changed to be relevant (beyond the wonderful music changes).
I did find a bug I think: sometimes when you pass from one "screen" to another, it teleports you to the same one you just left.

(Also, Joshua, I used your music in my game btw!)
Jokes apart, I love the amount of polish in this game. From sliders in the menu, to music that changes slightly depending on the season - the game looks complete! Gameplay-wise it seems a bit boring and purposeless, but it works great as a walking simulator. :) Solid work!
The intent was to have animals to follow you to a specific season, but couldn't get that in in time. You can get "stuck in a loop" if you go in the same direction. Each season is accessed though a direction, for example if you go up, you will always end up in summer regardless of which season you were in. Maybe I should've made it that whatever direction you go you always go to the next season
Whoops, I intended to opt out of the graphics category. Fixed now. Thanks for pointing it out @adroitconceptions
Well-chosen art assets, with a super evocative musical score. Good use of sound effects for pickups and in the menu, though with all the walking I did I was kind of missing footstep sound effects. Given the four seasonal themes, different sound effects for walking per season (grass, dirt, snow - even sliding across the ice) would have added some more game-juice.
I assume the theme was reflected with the changing seasons per screen, but on occasion they didn't seem to change and simply returned me to the one I had just left.
Your level of polish is strong in general. I just wished there was a little more to do than collect animals.
I don't really feel stuck in a loop why i played it, maybe always change seasons or pass to the next would be better.
Anyaway gg for the work on it ^^ keep jaming.
Maybe as you and other people mentioned in earlier comments there could be more gameplay elements, but the game feels finished, which is an achievement in ludum dare :)

Thanks for submitting! 😊
Missed some game end tho'. I mean besides the time-up.. Some objective. I'm not much of a fan of running around gathering points kinda games. But that's just me so I'll try to keep that in mind while scoring.
That being said, it was still a nice relaxing experience.
The Concept of the different seasons where a bit confusing but was interesting.
A nice Game Well Done
