I love the aesthetics! The ghost is super cute and the game sounds really really good as well. I just get a good feeling inside when I play it. :)

That art and music is really great! The intro screen in particular looks particularly nice!

Just two points of feedback gameplay-wise:
1. Thought the game got a bit too tough too quickly. I would tone down the spawn rate of dangerous obstacles early-on to let the player figure out what is harmful and what isn't a bit easier.
2. I think it would be helpful if there was more a visual differentiation between the candy that can harm you and the candy that you are trying to get. Took me a bit to figure out which was which.

Amazing soundtrack and graphics. Cool concept! I had some troubles understanding what I need to pick-up and what to avoid though :stuck_out_tongue:

Pleasant graphics and nice music! Sometimes it is difficult to distinguish between what to pickup and what to avoid, but maybe this was made for additional challenge =)

The introduction is nice as well as the music and art. I really enjoyed this game. I think it would be helpful if it was easier to distinguish between helpful and harmful candies visually.

I had a very zen playing experience in this game. The music and sound effects work well to set the mood and the art, as others have mentioned, is cute.

Another player mentioned that the early difficulty curve was to fast. I should mention that the late game difficulty curve didn't exist. It would be nice if the game started slower and ramped up difficulty to infinity and beyond! Or at least to infinity. I found myself wanting a bit more challenge once I figured out the pacing of the game.

However, I still proceeded to sit here listening to the music and enjoying the game's aesthetic for a good few minutes. It's an experience I recommend. Thanks for sharing your game!

Great graphic and audio design. I did keep getting hit randomly when enemies were no where close, so I think some of the hitbox reg is a little off. But none the less and fun, seasonally themed game.

Fantastic art and music. I really enjoyed the mood and had a ton of fun playing. I thought there was a good level of challenge. I kept replaying to try and better my score. Great work!

The perfect game for Spooktober! Well, other than the really cheery music that is almost Christmas-like. The game is really well-polished, and the art and sounds are pretty spot-on! Goddamn mimics keep killing me, but that's not really a problem; just a bit hard to spot in the hecticness, is all. The one minor thing that irks me is that I can't fly all the way to the top of the screen... I tried to avoid one of those long spooky bois and I suddenly got stopped right in front of his face. Not sure why that limitation was implemented, but other than that, it was a really fun experience! Well done!

Cute take on a classic game genre. Also appreciate the Halloween theme matching up with the timing of the jam!

This is my favorite game by far. The artwork was adorable (and impressive for such a short amount of time), and the audio was sooooooo cozy. It felt great to control. I will definitely be following the games that this team puts out in the future. Excellent work! :)

The graphics and music are incredible! Everything is so cute and works together so well, really makes the game fun to play. Also the first mobile-optimized game I've played in the jam, which is cool!

Nice! The game feels quite polished in graphic, sound and gameplay. It was a little hard to understand what item was good and what was bad but except that it felt complete! Goodjob everyone on the team!

very cute! nice art and music. didn't realize at first that one of the enemies looks like candy, so that was a bit frustrating for a while. otherwise it's a nice game :)

Cute! Somehow the design of the enemy ghosts (?) reminds my of Ghibli movies, especially Spirited Away!

Very cool graphics, lovely music! Is there no difficulty curve though? I had to let myself die at score 2940 because I was piling up friendly ghosts and avoiding bad candy wasn't getting harder. Congratulations!

Music is really nice. The game mechanics are decent. The transverse moving ghosts are impossible to avoid so, it end up making the game frustrating for me. Other than that, it is a solid entry. Great effort!

Nice graphics and audio that really support the immersion. When it comes to the tutorial, I like your implementation, but I must admit that I only properly understood the explanation of mechanics after I gave it a try having only skimmed over the tutorial. Maybe you could work on the first impression, so that your explanation of "good (pickup)" and "bad (avoid)", which you posted as a picture here on LD page, could be visualized during the tutorial itself. And one more thing, I think the pacing could be faster at the beginning - it takes maybe 7 seconds before a first item spawns, and then 10 seconds before any challenge starts. This may make sense for the first run (though it isn't remotely enough to get used to the movement borders and the relative acceleration compared to falling items), but it feels boring after every restart :) On the other hand, it nicely matches the moment music really starts. Thinking about the music, the rate of beats could actually even be used as a spawn timing instead of the random approach. But that's just my thought, maybe it's good enough as it is now :)
