Really solid and nice game. As a Tip: you could have made it more clear what "charge" actually does.

Hard but a lot of fun. I like the idea of free moving beams.

It's a really interesting idea with a cute visual style. I like the strategy it takes to prioritise either wood or enemies. It would be nice if there was a bit more visual feedback on the enemies and the trees when you're damaging them!

Very challenging, additional rays are weak and level 4 upgrade is very expensive! But very fun game and great concept, its like tower defence, but you can move towers and towers also gathering resources for you, I liked it a lot

I had so much fun playing this! The pixelated artstyle really suits this sort of game and i like the idea that you have to think about what to upgrade or where to place your beams.

awesome awesome awesome main mechanic. would absolutely love a fleshed out post jam version. Really reminds me of old school browser games that feel like they're made with love. The one big issue I had was that enemies started coming way too fast in the later section (200 energy). Wave break would be great and just a slower buildup overall because at some point I just got stressed out and couldn't balance anything/direct my focus because I was being hit by so many enemies at once

@james-7777 I agree. I was planning to do some particle effect stuff, but ran out of time unfortunately. Thanks for the feedback!

Really great and loads of fun, decent amount of challenge without seeming impossible! Although I haven't won yet!

It was fun trying to balance the resources between different beams and working out the best placement for the beams. The game felt well balanced, although I couldn't make it to the end. Having a different level layout each time I restarted helped keep the game a little more varied.

I think the time it takes to fully charge is a little too long especially when there is not much variation as the level progresses but I had fun overall.

@jonahsenzel Thanks so much for the detailed feedback! Balancing was very difficult, and I do agree that wave breaks would be a good idea. I will definitely consider a polished version if people take interest :)

Awesome game! I think it would fit much better on a phone than with a mouse. I like the depth between different kinds of builds. I played a few times trying to find optimal timings for upgrades and finally got a winning game. There's a lot of potential with this premise, and even this little demo is very fun on its own!

Fun mechanics and nice progression. It's satisfying to clear out the trees. It took me a few tries to figure out a good strategy.

Spent ages playing this haha. I love how important positioning is in this game - really keeps you on your toes. One thing I think would have been good is some sort of audio feedback when you lose health.

This was a nice twist on the dried old defence genre, really liked the idea. Surprisingly solid game altogether. Great work, solid base to build on if you want to take this further!

The dual-purpose beams is a really great and innovative concept. The difficulty curve was also splendid, I could really feel myself being slowly overwhelmed. :D

Pretty neat. I like the duality between resource gathering and defense that emerges.

I did end up being unable sustain circle production so I got overwhelmed :(.

Really cool game, however more enemy variety and circle upgrades would help keep things fresh!

@petturtle I completely agree! This was a planned feature, I already had some icons for harvest & attack beam upgrade paths, but decided to leave them out so I could focus on balance. Thanks so much for playing and for leaving feedback :)

Interesting take on tower defense games. I like how you have to trade off between defending and collecting resources. I wish the enemies came in waves instead of a constant stream at the end, because you eventually reach a point where you are so overwhelmed constantly that you have no time to collect resources, and it just snowballs from there. Solid game, though.
