Paca is a duck on a mission to rescue her lost chicks. She must survive a series of common city challenges, such as facing hordes of humans, dodging cars, running from hunters... all to keep her chicks alive. To do this, Paca will use her squawks to lure people away or call out her chicks.

You have to protect the little ones, good luck duck!

wow impressive amount of 3d art for this small amount of time.

I did have quite a hard time getting the chicks to stay at the nest, is that the goal? Eventually I just decided to terrorize the villagers and get onto props I wasn't supposed to.

There were some physics issues, one of the swings was going crazy and the cars were piling up on each other.

@timo-strating Thanks! We hardly slept at all to have it all XD

@cottontshirtz Thanks! Yeah, it was pretty difficult to have everything polished with the time we had, but we are pretty happy with the result!

went past a swing entering the 50th dimension. the 3D graphics are so cool!
don't really know what else to say, so err
"QUACK!"

edit:
I'd also like to add that the background music was wonderful!

fantastic game! a really enjoyable experience. would be better if you used Q for "Quacking" instead of H

From a graphics standpoint really good style, gameplay feels nice and fluid. One problem is, cars are broken a little.

Great Game, although the task is quite unclear and I also had to figure out all the features and the controls by myself. Good Job though, the game has so much in it for only a few days of work.

Incredible work on models and level building for jam time! I also had issue with holding your chicks in the nest, so I just running and honk everywhere

Awesome graphics for 3 days jam! It looks really nice. Reminds me of Untitled Goose Game

What an amazing game! Really impressed that you made that during the jam.. Really nice atmosphere and enjoyed flying around. My chicks kept walking in the road with all those maniac drivers around :scream:

Really nice work, with a little more time to iron out some of the weird physics bugs it could be pretty legit.
One thing I would add is maybe an indicator of where your nest is when you're guiding chicks.

Really nice game, it's impressive the amount of content that you manage you add. For me the sounds of the steps are a little too loud, and I couldn't really get the goal of the game, I wandered around for quite some time, I got chased by a guy and saw some things falling, but nothing was that challenging. Overall it's a very good game, congratulations.

@necrofear Yeah, we could fix the physics but I think we kinda like them xD

Very nice looking game! I'm not sure how it's supposed to be played though, the ducklings keep going away. Love the music and aesthetic.

I went in completely blind and tried out to get the core game play by what the game gives me. Seemed like I had to find 5 chicks and bring them to the nest. I did find smaller birds which responded to my quacking, but they didn't follow me. Scaring people didn't seem to do anything too (aside them from being scared :)) The bird catcher was pretty clear, tried to stay away from him. After I found the street and saw how funny the people drove, I was hit by one and died. So, I couldn't find out, what the game wanted from me to reach a winning state. I still had fun running around, jumping and flying around town.

The art was great and the level was huge. Performance in browser wasn't so good... I think I had around 25fps. I liked the sound effects and music. You haven had some voice lines, nice!

all in all, great entry that could be a little more specific with it's goal

@duke The chicks are afraid from humans, so you have to keep quacking in order to mantain them your side.

If you have perfomance problems try to change the graphics from the main menu.

Pretty cool entry, with lovely graphics and tight controls. Had some bugs with the zoom level, maybe clamping values is enough haha

Good job!

I love this so much! The graphics is really cute, and the camerawork in the first scene is really cool. I am amazed by the scale of the map and the variety of mechanics in the map for a game made in 72 hours. Also I love that I can choose costume at the start of the game. There was a problem that sometimes chicks go inside buildings, stuck there and cannot take them back. But overall this game was great. Well done!

@notan-lemon Choosing your costume is the most important xD

Amazing and cool game, I can’t imagine how you did so much work in 72 hours. Impressive graphics (my old computer slowed down a bit), thanks for the different settings. Really funny music and all sounds in place. I didn't immediately realize that not all birds followed me, but then I found all my chicks. That was fun! Good job!

Haha, that's super cute! And as has been said earlier, pretty impressive amount of content for a jam. Transparent objects when in front of the camera, costumes, nice little touches!
Could finish it as the ducklings wouldn't stay around the nest and kept wandering about! And one seemed stuck in a swimming pool in the top right corner.
Damn those people drive like maniacs in this city... And what about all those pianos!

The models, graphics, animations, sounds and music are all excellent! Some circumstances are quite funny.

I didn't find any indicators of meeting the objective, which I thought was to get the little ducks to my nest. They even fled the nest after a moment. I didn't know, whether this was winning the game or not.

Good game, with a little polish, this could be a great game!
Adrian Guevara

@sprotex the objective is arriving to the nest with 5 ducks at the same time. We tried to give the information without words but I think that maybe it's a bit unclear.

This game features an impressively large world, presented with stunning visuals and nice audio, with a remarkable amount of polish. What I didn't like were the stiff/imprecise controls, e.g. I barely managed to jump onto the steel beams at the construction site. Also, I lost a duckling because it glitched behind a prop and was never seen again. Nevertheless, very enjoyable entry!

This was fantastic; like others I eventually gave up trying to find the ducklings and started treating the game as an "Untitled Duck Game". The graphics and sounds are extremely effective, and the whole feel of the game is spot on.
Maybe some sort of indicator (assuming there wasn't one and I didn't just miss it) towards where the ducklings might be would help.

Cute game with a neat art style. It was fun to just fooling around this city, watch silly car "crashes" and people reactions. But why can't ducks swim? I lost sight of some chickens because of this :D
