You, as a professional bullet slapper, must utilize your ability that lets you to parry off the mysteriously charging bullets in order to destroy the gem-powered machine that somehow turned once ordinary rooms into an endlessly wrapping labyrinth as your job.

How many rooms you can cleanse up before you turn into a human swiss cheese from all those bullet holes?

How to play

(Since I didn't had any time to actually write any QoL features, there's no Options, In-game tutorials etc... My bad!) legobruhpromo_5.png This is an endless arcade game, where you parry the incomming bullets into the white gem-engraved 'target' blocks in order to destroy them.

After destroying all the 'target' blocks, you must stay alive, dodging the bullets for few seconds before you can finally proceed to a new, randomly selected room.

Your hero can only take up to 3 hits before dying, so be careful!

Controls

 • ARROW KEYS - Move
 • Z KEY - Action / Slap
 • ENTER - Continue
 • R - INSTANT RESTART

Misc. stuffs

This is my first Ludum Dare experience, but since I had a genuinely horrifying amount of IRL works like assignments to do, all I had was 16~20 hours of weekend. And because of that I must say that the results were quite smaller & I had to downscope a good amount of planned features, much more than other game jam's entries... Yet I'm really fascinated on what I could whip up within a very limited deadline. This surely was an exciting & challenging experience, I say.

I'm really looking forward to participate in the next jam with (hopefully) more time on my hand next time :>

Cool, it's really satisfying to whack at these bullets! The bouncing walk is probably little heavy, but I like it. It's a little hard for me to place myself right, and aim right. I think if things were scaled a little larger it might be an easy way to make it a little easier.

What I can say? Excellent work my friend, I adore your ability to make simple but enormously fun games with your own distinctive style. Well done.

Very cool, great job. The idea AND the art style are both very unique and makes this one stand out.

Slap the tap! Nice execution on gameplay. Cool graphics. I wish there was more levels (maybe randomized / procedural variations?).

Great entry for compo!

Dang...this game is really fun. Excellent use of the idea of loops, and it really helps that the screen renders a couple times to the sides. I was a bit confused by the level layouts, I saw one of the layouts several times and only saw 2 layouts before I got to screen 9 and finally saw another. If there were a bunch more layouts in there I would replay the heck out of this. Also the time I accidentally slapped a bullet diagonally in the room with the mirror blocks, suddenly it had a REALLY neat movement pattern that really required looking carefully at where the diagonal bullet was going to come in next. It might be fun if you added something that "forces" a bullet to bounce diagonally for some reason.

Anyway, really great job. This game def deserves some plays!
