Great atmosphere, and I liked the hand drawn style a lot!

I loved it! I married Suzie, rand the business for 14 years after which my son inherited it :smiley:. The atmosphere is awesome, has a very relaxed and peaceful note to it. And all the side events are great as well. I think this game has a lot to offer if extended even further. I hope to see more from you. Cheers!

Fantastic. Played for quite a while and still have no idea of how mechanics worked. But I don't care, as the atmosphere was amazing and the music relaxing. Music is quite similar to the music in my game (minus the flute), which was fun. Thanks for the game. Will play it some more to figure it out.

i made it to 14 years of peaceful life full of love and richness <3 i enjoyed this game a lot, specially the 'events' that happened randomly, although music and art style contributed too to build the homey atmosphere. i was kinda hoping though that sometimes choosing the 'apparently wrong' option would trigger nice events and vice-versa to create less predictable events, but it didn't stop me from having fun!

14 years ! I really liked this game, I was even a bit sad to finish it ! would have liked more options about potions though, like inventing a new one! But it was already great, especially considering the time given to do it ! Great game !

Great game! I really enjoyed the game all the way to the ending :)

The art is amazing and the music really ties the whole game together. The dialog is really nicely written and wholesome, I got really invested in the beginning!

I would love to see the story play out to the end of the game though, only having it for the first half got me a teeny bit disappointed during the second half. That may just be due to game jam time constraints though.

First off, love the art style! I like that the tree changes with the seasons. The mechanics were easy enough to understand.

I was kind of hoping my wife would add something to the shop. In a future version she might have a job like price indications (eg "Customers think the love potion is too expensive"), expected feathers or descriptions of the things I can buy.

Really nice! I kept the business alive for 12 years before going out of business, tough! There's a nice feel with the upkeep of the store and the music. The montage of people buying stuff is a good sequence. Nice job!

I am very impressed with this game. Combine a really nice,cute art style; a relaxing soundtrack; and some nicely layered game-play with plenty of replay ability. Most games in this jam have solid foundations for creating a "fuller" more well rounded game experience, however this game feels like a completely finished game. Great job, one of my favorites so far.

practically perfect given the time allowances. well done. for a full game maybe add peacock breeding / stables and see how it goes on mobile and steam

Survived for 11 years! Lost after a man ran away with $1000 of my money :(. Really good story line, audio, and visuals. Very impressive job! My favorite game so far!

Really nice graphics and music ( cozy atmosphere ). Actually I couldn't clearly understand the game mechanics. Like it was continuing by itself and I was just clicking the mouse button. Overall perfect mood... :thumbsup:

Selling potions happens automatically while the shop is visible
There is a menu screen between quarters where you decide what potions to make and what price to sell them for

Not sure why it would continue automatically in other cases - any time there is a button for you to make a choice it should be paused until you have made all of your decisions or hit OK.

I enjoyed this game very much! I would definitely play an extended version of it. I had a lot of fun taking care of the peacock, and trying to figure out its mysteries. I also enjoyed balancing the different potions and prices every year. All in all I think this is a great entry, and very rich in content for such a short time!

I would love to see a full version with more content in the future (more events, more potions and other magical items to sell, more stuff to do and buy for your peacock, etc...)

Wow wow wow wow wow, I fell in love with this game. I loved the mechanics and the variations on the peacocks feathers and status. I loved the atmosphere. I loved that there were characters and a story. I would pay money for this on the app store.

Well done, I really liked this game! Nice job balancing in the time frame of a game jam (that's always so tough), and it feels really good to play! It was a nice touch to have an element of the personal life as well! The mood was very nice, and the art style and music worked very well together. I think this game could just use a little bit of visual polish and a bit more variety on the audio side and it would be pretty perfect. Awesome job, and I hope you keep developing this moving forward!

The game is really calming, relaxing and charming; soft guitar music and watercolor art really helps with that. Season changes are so pretty, especially the spring!

I kept giving love to my peacock, but it fell sick twice, so it totally devastated my budget :D Maybe reduce medicine prices a bit, if you're planning to make a full version? I had to refuse giving gifts to my family, because I almost went bankrupt, but I made it somehow.

Anyways, this game made me feel some good feels. The characters are adorable, they even have various events with them, that was a fun experience! Would love some event CGs for a full version.
