Great difficulty curve, new concepts introduced gradually, overall really fun game!
the levels were very nice designed, i especially liked the ones where you have the little one-eyed buddies helping you
Music: You know what, it actually blended into the game pretty well for how simplistic it was. I would have loved to hear something a bit more cute with a fiery twitst. However you know what it did the job in supporting the game. :)

You had LOTS of levels for a 48 hour game and plenty of mechanics.
I'd kinda like to see stats at end of each level, or a rating system after each level. Having the stats at the end of the game was a great, fun little nod!
While making a mobile game version could be a fun objective, I will at first take some good rest before jumping back into one of these big projects :sparkler:
I got to the end (the true one, idk why there was a scoring before the final level  ), the LD46 easter-egg level was a great reward
It was interesting to see new mechanics coming through the new levels, and it was funny to be able to save Princess Ribbon giving our own life :grinning:
I was impressed by the number of levels that you made, they were a lot and they were well balanced, it went harder each time + adding a new mechanic. Moreover, I liked also the track record at the end, I was not that bad, I almost saved the princess as many time she fell x)
I don't have anything more to say, the only thing I want to say: you should make it as a bigger game !
Overall very nice work !
*Can you save the princess in less than 3:42?* did you mean 3:42 hours?
The idea is cute, the music simplistic and nice. And so much levels! I got stuck at Level 7 or so and got frustrated, but I'll be definitely come back for more :D and I'll show it to my boyfriend, most of the time he's better in gaming than I am ^^
Very very good job, especially considering you did this on your own!
Btw, you should make a webbuild, then you'd have even more players, some people are irresponsibly lazy ;)
also, it's a failrpoof way of sending this to mums and dads to try it out xD They can be quite irritated with the whole zip shenanigans ^^
I could very well see this game being played on smartphone or tablet, the controls would work very well!
If you continue to work on it, maybe make it so that when the player dies it's immediately Game Over? :)
@fatpenguin Thank you for playing  Very sorry to hear that you got stuck on level 7! There is a skip button (key N) to move to the next level if you want
Regarding the webversion, nevertheless the web build is not as good as the windows/macOS/linux build. It can be laggy, and there are some issues depending on the brower  But it was great for testing.
At last, yes I hesitated to make the death of the player a game over, but the LD46 theme was "Keep it alive" not "Keep them alive", so I found funny to save the girl, while dying, but clearing the level
Oh shoot, webplayers can be a pain in the ass right :/ I still hve to add one for our game but not until I adjusted the light for it ^^ Id rather have someone not play our game because hes a lazy ass then putting a webbuild out there that looks ugly! So I get your point ;)
Duly noted and that's how I immeadiately took it and found it funny :)
however, I didn't mean it as in "Hey the princess lived but you died so game over anyway", I actually thought that was cool because it allowed for real superhero kamikaze moves :D
I simply meant as in making it more enjoyable for the player, you know those creatures are easily annoyed ;) what you could also do is that as soon as the player dies the princess falls from the rope :)
(if she is still on the rope, therefore probably wouldn't make it anyway)
Thank you for the detail feedback!! :sparkler:
Good puzzle game with good puzzle design. Well done for putting many mechanics and levels!
I liked how you transformed the very classic "save the princess" theme into something so simple and fun!
Also I loved the name 'Princess Ribbon' just bcs it's her trademark and how it doesn't matter that even if you die and save the princess you win the level anyway :') Congratulations!
EDIT: I started it from Godot and it was good. Then I restarted the EXE and it crashed my whole PC, got a blue screen and had to restart. After the restart, the EXE works nicely. Unfortunately I can not reproduce the problem anymore but even if I could, I doubt it would be anything specific to Princess Ribbon.
Thanks for your helpful attitude.
Sometimes the time to complete each level felt a little short - not a big deal, but it was often quicker to just restart the whole level after a failed jump rather than keep trying from where I landed. Even just a tiny bit more time would feel a bit better in my opinion.
