Hope you like cats. Or if you don't, maybe this will scratch some sadistic itch (and we'll all judge you).
Stuck in a strange world, break out of nested do, while, and for loops by manipulating variables determined by level components (eg: Kill enemies to reduce the enemyCount variable). Breaking out of the main loop progresses you to the next level.
Seems normal at first, gets weirder as you go. Much weirder. Stick with it! The reward is very much worth your time, I promise.
Top-down Shooting Controls: - WASD = Movement - Left Click = Fire weapon - E / Space / Right Click = Interact with objects

Updates:
This was easily the most problematic rollout I've done to date. Between using a customized ECS framework, trying to get nested loops yielding appropriately in a single coroutine, and a LOT of WebGL issues, this game was pretty much unplayable after submission (although it worked fine on my machine... ha... famous last words). Thank you to everyone who let me know when the game wasn't working.
Fixes had to be looked into each day after work, until I finally burned out and waited for the weekend to fix the remaining stuff. It's still pretty buggy (worst code I've ever written), but the game should be playable from start to finish now.
- (10/06/2020): Fixed WebGL loader getting stuck at 90% (compression issue).
- (10/07/2020): Fixed input system not working (code stripping issue).
- (10/12/2020): Fixed endless coroutine loop preventing level 5 from loading. Experiencing another bug with audio not looping in final stage, which does break a lot of things dependent on audio clip timecode. Will be trying a workaround. Open bug in Unity described here: https://forum.unity.com/threads/unity-webgl-audio-not-looping-when-started-with-playdelayed.526952/ (fixed in 2020.2, I'm on 2020.1)

Swamped with work right now, but will hopefully get this resolved tonight if I can. Will put a note in the description for now until I can generate a new build with the suggested fix and upload.
scarie
The code mechanic was a cool idea but under utilised. All the levels could be completed easily without reading it as they were all just kill everything that moved and collect any shiny things.
