Bez tytułu.png You wake up and don't remember a thing. Who are you? Where are you? Who is the mysterious voice that keeps talking to you? Why are these... robots attacking a main server?

Grab your katana sword, smash through incoming robots and discover a terrifying truth about you and MSS, Incorporated!

Bez tytułu.png

HOW TO PLAY?

Click left mouse button to hit enemy with katana. Click right mouse button to use special dash ability that reloads every 3 seconds. Robots damage main server every 3 seconds. After 100 hits, the server will be destroyed.

If you want to talk to The Voice or get more information walk right to the green console and hit spacebar. Remember - the game cannot be paused, so the server will continue to be damaged by robots while you're using the console.

The game is quite short and has two main endings (and a server death screen), so we highly encourage you to replay it and unblock both endings. :)

The concept is interesting, but it lacks of some incentive to add more interest to the game, like a score system. I liked the music and the art style, especially on the main menu, it is very pretty, it reminded me of Hotline Miami !

Moreover, I found that the character movemvents were too slow and not precise, but his attacks were cool !

Overall, gg for your work !

@edalbung Thank you for your feedback! We decided not to put any kind of score system due to the fact that the game is story-driven and we wanted the player to focus on the story.

Although we are proud about the fact that the game reminded you of Hotline Miami. You compared it the the best! :)

Hello there! I played your game on-stream last night.

I love the synth-wave music and cyber-punk setting. They are truly my my favorite genres of music and science fiction (no lie). So this was a delight to play. The "coolness" factor was through the roof :v:

I love the visual style; top-down perspective, hi-def sprites, pinks, blues and greens. Gave me a sense of nostalgia while staying fresh. Very cool.

I found it a little difficult to read through all of the text on the screen between waves of robots - perhaps that was the whole point... but it felt a bit that my success was based on my ability to read quickly, which is not a skill that I am used to being tested in a video game. So maybe it's a good thing!

I think it could be great to add some sort of "hacking" gameplay as well. I know there was a passcode to discover within the dialogue options... maybe push that interaction into lots of different scenarios - and the "win" condition could be based on successfully hacking the robots, rather than a timer running out. Add some randomness to the puzzles and solutions - people can judge their skill on how quickly they complete the level.

Anyway - thanks so much for sharing. Fun game!

Came for the excellent presentation, stayed for the 80's synthwave!

Nice game. I liked the story and the two ending. However, I feel like 10 minutes is to much given how basic the gameplay is. It becomes boring quickly.

Also I just played another LD game where you need to go through dialogs on the phone while doing something else. But in this game, you the phone was always available and you could move while using it. I think it might have been a good choice for this game, because being locked on the console while robots are hitting the main server is a bit annoying.

Anyway, that was fun. Good job.

Nice game. I lacked some kind of a indicator of server's health. And I think I didn't even need to strike the enemies. It was enough to just touch them and they would disapppear. Good job!

@banzi Thanks for your opinion! The HP indicator of the server was it's lightning - the more it got hit, the darker it got.

Great concept and for a top down game it is very well polished in such a short period of time! I see you spent a lot of time with the story options and that is very much appreciated. Wish you good luck.

Pretty cool game. As mentioned before, it would be nice to see the servers health, and sometimes the enemies start shaking when they reach the server. The graphics and story were really good, and the gameplay was a bit slow but still fun. Nice game.

I love this concept. The feel and look is great, it could use more features but then again so could every game here. I think you did a great job with the time given and I'd like to see it expanded even more! Nice!

A bit repetitive. Great aesthetic though and generally stylistically coherent. Gameplay isn't that exciting though.
