Stuck in a Loop by Lena Taylor
In this game, the "loop" you're stuck in is your variety of weapons. You automatically cycle through three of them, each with their own unique attack patterns. As the player, your job is to adapt to your ever-changing arms selection and defeat the boss at the end of the night club.

But seriously, weapons are kinda random. Also most enemies didn't responded to my presence, which was weird.
The music is very nice and the aesthetics fit the game. Controls were also great.
I felt the game was a bit too easy though. I was able to plow through enemies like they weren't even there ^^
Edit: Great interpretation of the theme!
Good gameplay too! I like the different weapons. I'm sure more enemies would've let me experiment more but I appreciate having a big boss fight, too.
The weapon sounds are quite high pitched and much louder than the background music. I'd recommend a lower pitch in general. I've run into this issue myself when using synthesized sounds. Testing on a variety of speakers/headphones helps. Laptop speakers really make this sorta thing hard to notice!
With more time to work on the game, I would suggest focusing on "juice" like the impact from weapons firing or enemies getting hit. Those are pretty simple to add but can be very effective in giving the player a sense of impact, which is very satisfying.
Great work!
