Play as a crawling larva, a killer roach and a corpse harvesting moth ! David Cronenberg has dreamed of it !

You cycle through through these cutish lifeforms, "stuck in the loop" of neverending life.

As a larva crawl for your life hiding away from predators. You'll then grow into the roach.

As a roach, well easy ... KILL'EM ALL !!! You'll then grow into a moth.

As a moth, grab the corpses to build your nest, and....die. You will then respwan as a fresh larva from your nest.

Make sure to place your nest in a strategic position so you can crawl your way out of the level when in the larva stage.

Happy crawling/killing/harvesting !

Controls: Left arrow/Right arrow/spacebar!

All the rest is automayed, auto-kill, catch corpse when touching, wait to drop corpse

Great concept! Nice music. However I wish the player had more control over the evolutions. I managed to get myself stuck in the corner on the second level. Also I got a bug when trying to place 4th bug(no pun intended) near the nest.![Bug.png](///raw/99c/73/z/39174.png)

That's creativity right there!
I just loved it.
The music is awesome.
The sprites are really cool.
Great original concept.
And to make this comment useful maybe I didn't like the fact that to confirm nest building stages the "input" is to wait, a bit game pace breaking for me I would have preferred an additional input. But maybe in later stages that I didn't take the time to reach yet the waiting mechanic plays out as a difficulty constraint vs the other flying enemies.

Well thinked game. nice pixel arto too. The larvae phase is pretty useless and the second phase can pratically fly like the moth. Just some design choices i would change but overall the game is very good.

It's a good concept! I'd add some more sound effects for the playable characters (thought sound was broken in the beginning).

Pretty original! It took me a while to figure out I needed to wait for the nest building to start after I brought the first corpse, I kept thinking that there is a collision box missing or something.

Great concept, it really fits the theme! The dynamic was a really nice touch but I think the difference in volume between the different parts of the cycle was a little too extreme. Overall great work!

Having a tutorial and levels you can enter separately is a really nice improvement over most games (including my own, whoops). The way that the different stages of life interact is also great. The physics is a bit jank (I got stuck inside of a platform once) and I wish there was a way to manually drop a dead creature, instead of being at the mercy of the engine, but I like this game a lot nonetheless.

Nice Game, one of the most unique ideas I've seen so far. I really like how the soundtrack changes with each new form.

Great concept, and the larval stage animation is great. I like the way that the puzzles require understanding and application of the life cycle, but at times the timings are frustrating. A major bug (lol) is when only 3 corpses are available, and the moth stage ends while trying to place the final corpse. It wasn't added to the nest, and I could not pick it up again to finish my nest. In my opinion, the moth stage should not be able to end whilst placing corpses. A fun game, and the potential for some really interesting puzzle design if you choose to expand on the concept.

Great animations, great concept, maybe a bit too hard

A few bugs got me softlocked two times in level 2: corpses that you carry are not dropped when you transform, and corpses that you push down a platform seems to disappear after reaching the bottom of the screen. The blue killing plant could have had a bit more of a death-inducing appearance.
Overall a very nice idea and nice graphics!

Fun gameplay, really good art and nice music. I can imagine this as a full-length puzzle game.

Catchy music, I like how it reflects your current stage! It's a bit frustrating when you don't quite finish your nest in time and have to wait for the whole loop to finish before you can move corpses again. Maybe base it on actions taken inside the game instead, like eating berry bushes in the first stage?

Nice concept and that fits the theme nicely. It's a tiny bit tedious to go back and forth putting the nest together but it's worth it! Clever idea, thank you!

I really liked the larva movement animation! Also the emoji state machine was fun and intuitive! At times it was a bit difficult to know when exactly the player character would evolve, the revolving UI element wasn't super clear. But overall a neat idea and a solid execution!
