@bellringerquinn The jumps are not the best, the player could've done with a bit higher jumps, I agree
@wujood The physics are pretty weird, its pretty weird working with gravity like this either way there is probably many things I could've done better.
@nikolaj Thanks for playing! I though of the clouds not requiring that but it had to do more with time limits.
The music was also nice. This would be a great game to play with a controller and just chill.
I have a small comment though: There were some frustrating parts when I would walk for for a few seconds through empty lands, only to realize that the path is blocked. Then I need to come all the way back to take a cloud in order to cross that obstacle.
@gilad-bar-ilan Thanks for playing!
I love everything about this game: the way it messes with physics, the appearance of the enemies (especially a boss, it's so hilarious), impressive death animation, cartoonish visual style and fitting music. Great work! What a wonderful game!
@nikos Nice to hear that someone pulled off a trickshot
@yngvarr Thanks for playing and I'm glad you liked it!
@samdwester Nice, happy to hear that is possible to get used to it.
@veeramandadraws Thanks for playing and for your comment!
*EDIT* "perhaps not having to follow along with the moving platform but sticking to it and having to jump to other moving platforms..." realised that bit wasn't really clear. I see you're using unity. If you know this already ignore me. But if not you can set the player transform as a child of the moving platform when he lands on it and set his transform.parent to null when you jump to have him move along the platform without slipping and continue as normal afterwards;
The only thing I would add is some visual "hit" feedback to the boos. I was jumping on his head and wondering if that is actually accomplishing anything or am I just wasting all that Fruit Loop energy. He finally did fall apart but if he would just flash (or something to that effect) every time he is successfully hurt that would be nice.
Game also generates an error when you press "quit". Not really a problem but I figured that you may want to know (if you don't already)

@fabula-rasa I'm glad you liked it, the boss was quite rushed so I forgot to add stuff like that. I tought the sound effect of hitting it would be enough but clearly it isn't. I know the quit button generates an error but I just left it there because I find it funny to try to leave a webgl game like that.
But the game made me a little dizzy, i think the combination of the colours that are too live (they could be a little less saturated and bright) and the spin factor of the map made it happen.
The 2.5D graphics are very solid.
The music is very good, and you even did a second one for the boss fight, good job!
The platforming controls work ok, but as always, this is beyond difficult to get it just right. Here, what was the most frustrating for me was some sticky corners on some platforms, and not moving along with clouds. Clouds were also very frustrating all along. My humble advice would be to always use them over shorter paths like one in the second loop, and to make them wait a bit at the end of their cycles.
I loved that the enemy only push you, this is very good.
I like the idea of the mini game for elevators even if I personally don't like this mini game.
Thanks for the game I had fun 💕
@doot Thanks for the important feedback its definitely something to note. I'm glad you got trough it somehow at least!
Few feedbacks on gameplay:
- Jump is a bit floaty
- Would have liked to be parented to moving platforms, it's a bit hard to stay steady
- A bit too much moving platforms imho, but maybe I didn't liked them because of the second point
Making platformers is not an easy task, congrats!
The character was super cute, and so was the whole game. Mood was super well done, and that's just the kind of a game to make you happy. The joyful music added up well with the graphics, animations and sfx.
I found the movement to not be sooooo consistant which kinda irritated me sometimes, but it's still very playable. Also some weird but minor bugs with getting stuck into a cloud, or something along those lines. And maybe it could've also made some things a bit better, if you didn't have to move yourself while being on top of a moving cloud. But at least that made it so you had to at least do something all the time.
One thing that is very true as I saw someone comment, was how different the game looks from the screenshots! It doesn't look that impressive and when you hop into the game, it was super sick.
But anyways, one of the more impressive LD entries I've seen, and you guys did an incredible job! You should be proud of this one :D
@flazone I'm not good with platformers, never made one and never never really played them. I'm surely gonna learn from this!
@m0dsat The boss really wasn't the best part of the game, I rushed it and I didn't think of any visual feedback.
@raffe Thanks a lot for playing, the movement was pretty bad I have to agree, some platforms were too high and the player didn't get stuck to the clouds.
@instrex I'm glad you enjoyed some parts, the start on the big loop was really dragged out with only a few clouds and nothing else...
@fpoli Ohh in that case I should've had both a,d arrows and controller support because it would've been pretty easy to add. I really got out of the arrows era and didn't even think anyone would use them. Another good thing to note here!
Thanks for playing everyone and for your feedback!
The Controlls where a bit "squishi" and where not really on point which makes the navigation a bit hard.
But overall a cool game. Well Done
