The art looks very good. I have played 5+ games and have never won. I started to suspect that there was no heart in the map :-)

I died so many times! didn't actually finish. Definitely spent a bunch of time on it though so that's a good sign. Awesome art. Fire should die slower

Artwork is fantastic. A couple of layering issues with the resources clipping through trees. Beat it 3rd try once I learned the locations of everything on the second. I took too long and ran out of wood :D

Such a beautiful looking game that truly adheres to this jam's theme. I had a problem when trying to pick up the sword because I was not touching the handle. Since the character was not picking it up, I just went around the level... so I suggest to make the sword a pickup as soon as you touch any part of it, not only the handle (even if it is more thematic).

I read the walkthrough before playing as I though its some sort of tutorial xD was waaaay too easy after that. But it looks very pretty, cute and fun to explore!

My only issue is, that picking the sword is not that intuitive.

Otherwise, I loved it.

@hanamigi Thanks for so detailed feedback! Yeah, I agree with you, my way of picking sword up doesn't so intuitive . Next time I'll think more about such things)

I like the main hero, the art is beautiful and the animation is on point. Although, it would be great to have the ability to sprint.

A very nice game! The graphics are good, and everything is intuitive and smooth. It was a bit short, but great otherwise.

Great game! The graphics are very pretty and I liked how the purple monster showed a heart after I went by it when I went back to the fire. Good job!

Loved the basic drawn art style, and the animation of the characters.
I liked the exploration, finding items and not knowing their purpose right away was interesting.
Simple controls with automatic interactions was good, but it took a couple goes to pick up the sword because I didn't know I could.

Don't tell the wizard I stole back the fire's heart.

Good graphics. Fire burns out maybe a bit too fast (or walking is too slow) for my taste.

I managed to finish it! Good one. The walking seems a bit too slow. I liked the graphics and the colour palette with those pastel tones. Sounds and music it is really missing. The story also is quite interesting. I really loved the idea of putting those little wood pieces into the fire. The animations well done as well. Good job!

Aww what a cute game! I really liked the animations, gave it a cool "scribbled" look, like out of kid's book :)
personally I felt like he could have been a bit faster :3
The gameplay could have been more interesting, but considering you did this all alone in the course of a gamejam You did a very good job! Congrats on finishing your game :) I think music and sound would have also aded much. There is a bunch of cool free sounds online, might wanna check that out :) for sounds, freesounds.com is a good starting point, as for music youtube has a lot of free music where you just have to credit the author :)
Again, good job!

Cute game. I had a problem in my first run that I didn't realize that you can take branches, so I thought that you needed just do all quests before time is over. But time is annoying anyway because I like exploring ^)
