Limbo Library by Herman Chau
It was another ordinary day of working at the library when — oh dear what happened — there are monsters everywhere and a talking skull in the corner mocking you! You try to find your way through the labyrinth of rooms but some curse has made it so that your day starts over after 60 seconds!
Limbo Library is a top-down shooter roguelike made for Ludum Dare 47. The theme was "stuck in a loop" and we ended up making a game that we described to ourselves as "Minit meets Enter the Gungeon".

Overall this is a really solid entry. The graphics are charming, the audio is on point, and the game loop felt tight and fair while still providing a bit of a challenge. I usually try to provide constructive criticism when possible but honestly the only thing this entry needs is more time.
Great work!
I like those angry chickens :)
I felt the time might have been a little harsh, but I guess I won on my 3rd attempt, so it wasn't overly difficult. The hex + shop idea is good, although personally I think the hexes might add up a bit too quickly if you fall behind which is a bit nasty...
The final boss encounter was incredible, I liked the part where he did that huge BZWEWEW attack, and the huge sweeping laser beam, not to mention the really clever thing I won't spoil here.
Gonna comment on the music again cause it was so good and so perfectly timed, I had a grin on my face the whole time. Great job!
After figuring out the first way what to do, I finally understand what strategies to use (save money and camp in a spot till time runs out to avoid risking dying) and thus the second time around was better.
I got really spooked when I stumbled upon the boss, but the story it gave instead was wholesome.
Too bad I thought I won and stopped moving to listen to it, and the trailing ghost got to me
