I love the scene progression. It's a nice touch.
Sadly the nails themselves are hard to see, and certainly the vignette effect doesn't help for that matter.
Maybe you should state that you could drag the mouse cause I certainly see other people just clicking... and that's hard enough to do with such small nails. (and maybe add a toggle? my finger hurt after my attempts)
Overall, still a good entry! Well done~

Game is cute, fun, and simple. The backgrounds looked nice and gave a sense of progression, though I believe it starts to loop after ~2000 meters and turning very dark, making it harder to see.
Holding down the mouse button was tiring, wish it could just follow my mouse. Some music would've been nice.
The art is cute!
Nice work, also I like how you can damage your own balloon. Nice touch!
all seriousness though - this is awesome, my only complaint is that the sfx were a bit jarring on the ears. Still, I love this and it'd make a great mobile game!
I did find a lot of the difficulty came from the nails being hard to see against the background. I'm not sure if that was deliberate (or just my eyesight heh) but a slight little glow around them maybe would have helped me a lot.
The armour pickups felt a little unnecessary, when I got them? I wonder if it'd be a cool feature if they popped up right when you're about to get hit by a bunch of nails at once as a twitch-reaction way to escape death.
Feels like nails' speed should differ depending on the direction you are getting them from, since the ones flying from top/bottom are currently way more dangerous since you have less time to react. Some backstory for the hamster and some facial expressions for the hamster could help get a bit more invested into it, too.
