Awesome concept, beautiful art, and I would say that at least for me the first try was too easy, and you're rewarding more the loosing than the winning, why not making the opposite and spawning ghosts when you reach the top and then (again, absurdly) die? So winning would make a harder and faster level with more ghosts, and loosing just repeat the last level.
