upgradeteaser8.gif

You're a really simple robot, who starts his life with... nothing. You have to explore the level to find all the needed controls. When you find them and collect all the batteries, you will manage to open The Mysterious Gate... What will you find there?

Controls (you will have a tutorial in the game) - T to TELEPORT - remember this one when you finally install it :) - arrows to walk (when you install them) - space to jump (when you install it) - all arrows to fly (when you find jetpack) - all arrows (or space) to swim (when you install it) - left/right arrow and up arrow to wall walk (when you install it)

Awesome game, the level design must of been a pain lol.

The game was really well done. Of course, no game comes without problems.

My first and prominent problem has to be the fact that you are required to teleport back to the beginning when you upgrade. Players should choose to teleport back and the animation, while cool, probably needs to be faster as it gets old quick.

The second issue I have is that the game only has one sound effect, and I don't even know what the sound even is. Sure, it happens when the players falls but it doesn't exactly convey that. It'd be great to hear more awesome noises when you jumped, used the jetpack, maybe lasers when they are close enough, and upgrades.

Besides those, I feel like finding the batteries were a little more difficult to find than the final upgrade, and there is a bug where if you fall from a high enough point you will clip through the walls and somehow the outside of the walls become solid (though originally it was thought that it was some kind of cool easter egg ;) ).

Overall, well done on the game, the graphics are fantastic and with a little bit of work this game could see it's way into full fledged Robo-Adventure.

@supergamersgames Thanks for your great feedback! Much appreciated! For now, we fixed the bug with falling from high - it was like an easter egg... but.... better not :P
We have some problems with sounds, though. They are too low, it's almost impossible to hear them - for sure we'll fix it.

Nice Game, I like the music and Art.
The feeling of flying in this game is a little strange. Is there only one end to the game?

Amazing, loved it! In fact, loved it so much that I played to the end! It's a great little mini metroidvania with a twist, great job. Controls feel good, music is good, graphics is good + a nice surprise for those who beat the game, you've got it all. In terms of innovation... well, every other dev thought about similar mechanic. Nevertheless, great job, guys.

There is only one ending - we were planning to add the second one but the TIME was against that xD

This is great! The art is really polished, the music is excellent. The most impressive thing for me is that it is a fully realized game where the core mechanic leads to a satisfying ending. Just really, really impressive work for a game jam game!

Awesome game, it fits the theme perfectly! The thing with teleporting back is a very clever idea for the gameplay, but maybe it happened a little too often. I also love the music!

Nice game! It reminds me to DLC quest, the mechanic of being unlocking the controllos its always fun to play, and it encourage to explore the map to find new ways to keep exploring it deeper. Really good job!

Adorable, fun, clever, challenging. My favorite from this LD so far.

If I were to dislike something, it would be the camera movement. I felt like my field of vision was very small. It would help if you moved the camera so I see more in the direction I am going.

Cool concept. I managed to finish it  . The audio was awesome, same with the graphics, I liked that the main sprite changed with new upgrades and stuff. The controls felt very nice. There isn't anything bad I could say about the game tbh. Very well done!

Neat game. It reminds me of the "Robot Wants" series. I thought the forced teleport after collecting each upgrade was unnecessary, it made it a little more of a bother to explore the level.

Really cool. Love puzzly stuff and unlocking things like this bit by bit feels really good. Very nice presentation too. Polished and solid. Enjoyed a lot! You should be proud!
