Curse of the Loop

Maybe it was just me but I couldn't figure out how to get past the second screen.

@charlie-hall Here's a tip: The spike traps have a cooldown after activating (the spikes are harmless when they are descending)

Puzzling Game, the concept challenges you to plan forward and your next steps, I like it. The Input does feel a bit chunky sometimes tho.

The mood is on point! Loved the lighting. I'm sure the core mechanic was not easy to implement in only three days, so props for that! Only thing that I found confusing was that the AI didn't react the same for each of my lives with the snake attacking my previous selves in a seemingly random order. Still, great entry, congratulations! :)

Hey your game is quite fun and smart. It is very interesting to use the mechanics of "old versions of the player", in order to solve the puzzles and complete the level. It is a very elaborate interpretation of the theme. Congratulations.

Impressive work for an interesting puzzle game. Il like how you managed the theme playing with ghosts so as to solve levels. I was very surprised by controls because all is clever and smooth. I could be improved yet and maybe more features. Well done. Thank you for your feedback. I really appreciated ++

Nice game! I loved the gameplay and the mood of the game. Good job! My only complain would be the transition between levels, too bright for me ^^U

PS. The snake is a mass murderer D: xD

I couldn't get past the level with the rolling boulder and the two pressure plates. I tried standing someone on each plate and nothing seemed to happen, and I couldn't figure out any other way of progressing.

Otherwise, nice theme and mood, it's definitely a solid base. My only suggestion would be to put in a soft restart button which ends the current run without having to find a way to kill yourself.

I had a similar idea with my game. I like your implementation. Mood/Setting fit and the theme was executed well.

Excellent game and so well polished in such little time! The art, lighting and music (as well as lots of great animation work) created such a brilliant mood for this game. While I've seen this time looping emchanic before, I've never seen it like this, used for a top-down dungeon crawler, and it works great, super fun to come up with strategies over mutiple lives.

Only complaint would be low framerate, especially when multiple player ghosts are on screen, but I have a 2014 laptop so might just be on my end.
