This game is seriously cool!

Clever approach to the theme. A little bit grim,. but very cool!
The way you fade out the window which is also your lose state... DANG!

Love your usage of the music as well

That fade effect is wizard magic. I love it.

That smile at the end... I enjoyed the combo of creepiness and humor (especially the jarring piano bits when you capture a soul). The kids running away gave enough challenge to require the hiding mechanic, but not so much that it felt frustrating.

The fading effect was really clever, it reminded me of the Ludum Dare winner from a few years ago where you played as a snail and the game window got bigger a your shell grew. The music and sound effects added to the mood, and I laughed out loud at the end. This is a solid entry and a good example of what a Ludum Dare game should be.

@kevinworkman Ah yes, [Recluse from Ludum Dare 23](http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-23/?uid=11981). That's a game I won't easily forget as it was the game that made me realize to think more outside of the box.

@all Thanks! Glad you like it :)

I really liked the fade mechanic. Not my normal type of theme but still very enjoyable.

It is always a pleasure to play your entries, it was such a well deserved #1 last LD. It is just so well polished, every little attention to detail makes it come to life. My favorite part is the smile at the end, and it is also the best example of how much you do, in very small ways.

You really are an artist!

Great job as always

Never seen such an idea and implementation! First I thought my pc was broken haha but omg having a transparent game is the cleverest thing I have seen! Really well done and awesome execution of the theme!

Wooooow the transparent window is soooo cool i love it really :D <3 All the screen effects are really cool ! The music is really intense, and everything fits perfectly together :) Only regret is the terrain looks a bit flat. I really love your entry good job :D

Actually a really innovative and cool effect, don't think I've seen it anywhere else (hadn't even thought it was something that could be done)! I always love alternatives to health bars and this is one of the cooler ones I've seen. The gameplay is a bit simple but in three days its hard to make more x) Well done!!

I really liked the music. It was fitting to the theme of the game. The audio effects were cool, and delivered the spooky effect of the ghost scaring the child. Also liked the animations of the ghost character and the children's reactions. Great game !

Wow! Really bang-up job on how you implemented the fading of the screen to convey the player's life. Very innovative! The invisibility mechanic was simple but really well executed. Very nice game!

That fade effect id super clever. I was confused when I started to see my desktop through the game XD. the idea, execution and presentation are all excellent. I do feel the art doesn't really fit the feel of the game though. great work!

I'm a fan of yours since that hilarious sofa game :D You're giving away another ideal Ludum Dare entry this time: short, easy to play, funny, well polished, and with a whoa! moment that is the window fade effect! Well done again!

I had to delve into the source code just to find out how you did that fading-out effect :P I also especially liked the way the music suddenly shifted to ANGRY PIANO whenever you caught anyone. Just the right level of spooky vs funny!

pretty cool. scared some kids. I'd like to have seen like a 3 day version of it or a version where it continues the vibe of the creepy shader stuff from the beginning into the game. screen fading was cool. Good job.

Cool game! The flipping effect was pretty cute and I liked how you played with background opacity. The take on the theme was cool too. Gameplay ends up being a bit too shallow.

Really cool effect with how the window closes itself after you lose. Simple game but beatable. And nice twist at teh end with that smirk.

### Intense music though I must say!

Such a cool and inovative idea with the fading, I'm almost surprised other games (i've seen) have never played with that idea before! great game!

This game was cute, entertaining, deep and dark. Loved the fading that was unique! Loved the premise :-D I included it in this video and also in a shorter compilation with all the LD games I played https://youtu.be/iNIDbJxZYZk?t=2822 Hope to see you next jam :)
