Adrian Krawczyk is the best game creator in the world. I never saw such fantastic game. Be proud of yourself mate.
it,s really enjoyable game to play
I loved it a lot especially when you get under high pressure with a lot of robots to kill
its really great game
keep it and good luck!!
i know this all, i wanted to fix all of this, but i didnt have enough time
it was made as a top down, but i had to change it to "platformer-like"
this moonwalking is the worst and i hate it
this is my first jam so im happy with it, but in the next game jam, i will prepare more!
thanks for this comment, next time i will be more experienced!
Suffers for lack of variety though - but that's logical with time constraints. Also, and interesting fact - power-up boxes block enemy bullets (and your own as well) - great shield if they happen to spawn in a right place.
Incidentally, we also made a game about defending a plant (a tree) for this jam :)
- Feedback:
The game got really repetitive quickly, suddenly it was just standing on the plant and shooting back and forth.
The gravity was really weird.
But not bad!
i will know what i have to avoid in the next jam!
Your game was a little confusing to me but interesting.
I didn't understand well when you get to lose, since enemies getting to the plant would only cause you to teleport you back to the plant and cleanup the level.
I think it would be great if you got to keep the power ups until you lost or something.
But overall really amazing game!
losing works on a checkpoint system, after every wave you save your progress
thanks for your feedback!!
im happy that you enjoyed my little buggy game
Overall it's okay. Quite funny!
There was a red bad that would seem to follow me round until it caught up to me when i respawned.

A couple times the game "restarted" i was stuck in the floor!

I think the speed/bullet boost was a good idea but i did not immediately recognise what it was suposed to represent. After collecting a few, my guy was able to fly across the ceiling and shoot from up there, but obviously not also see the plant. Good try for solo project!
to be honest, i didnt get any negative feedback yet
i know that i just have to work harder next time, and be prepared for fixing bugs before the deadline.
im glad that you all gave me feedback, now im more experienced!

Edit: Forgot to add, I really liked the dash mechanic too!
The power-ups were awesome!
Greato Jobu!
The game play loop itself is pretty simple, but effective. If you make an action packed shooter, then shooting and defeating enemies should always feel rewarding. Just making them disappear without a trace (or soundeffect) just seems a little off. I never can get much satisfaction out if it like that.
Also, the map was a bit uninspired and could use some more variation to shake things up. The powerup system was a good idea but seemed a little unbalanced. A couple of the "faster shooting" items and I could fill the whole map with a barrage of my bullets in no time.
All in all, a little rough around the edges but still a fun few minutes. With a little more work towards presentation and player feedback, this could be improved a lot!
Keep it up and I hope we meet on next ldjam :)
