:exclamation: Disclaimer: Because of extreme time constraints a lot of corners had to be cut from the original concept. This means there are now only two hazards, the UI is a bit buggy, the game is not playtested/balanced very well and the performance is just straight-out bad. I'm sorry if you experience any of these issues! :exclamation:

:bug: Known bugs/problems:

  • The game has a lot of lag-spikes when a building is being build or removed. This has to do with the navigation system recalculating the whole level.

  • Sometimes camera glitches through ground: just scroll backwards to get back.

  • Sometimes people get stuck in the middle of nowhere, send other people to their square to help them getting unstuck.

More I played, more the slider become laggy.

Progression: I got 72 pop, after that and laggy sliders, I got lot of cloud&tornade and my pop decrease fastly. :sob: https://i.imgur.com/98F2aRW.png

@a-312 Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I have no idea how the slider became laggy but I also didn't really have time to playtest, so I guess that's why. Rip your population dude! :P

This is addicting, man. I ran into the laggy slider too, which probably saved me from sinking an hour into this game. Hopefully that's an easy optimization because I want to play more of this. I will say that it can be unclear sometimes if a house is going to get hit by the storm. Maybe it would help to make the lines thinner, or maybe apply a highlight of some kind to houses in danger? This would be great on mobile if the UI could be made to work. I would play this for hours dude. Keep up on this one!

This was a super cool game! It would be great if I could select the number of citizens I want to move with the numbers on the keyboard. The modular system is awesome, and you could probably build on the idea a fair amount. Like Nathan mentioned, it would be a nice feature if the houses in danger lit up.
Nice nav system, and I like how they all gather on the tops of the houses.

Very cool stuff. You kept me engaged, which is difficult to do with a jam game! Nice work.

This is a really fun game that I think can seriously be expanded into something bigger. My only issue is the same lag that everyone else seems to be having but other than that, really fun!

@theamerican Thank you so much for you valuable time and feedback, I'm super glad you enjoyed despite the lag! Good feedback too, it would make the game way easier to read than it currently is.

@railgunzx Thanks for the kind words and your helpful insight! I'm sad to say I don't have a proper solution for the lag spikes just yet, but otherwise I might have developed this game a bit further :)

Was a good game, would of been nice to have some music during the game play or something to set the mood slightly. Also would of been nice to be able to build a house or something after each disaster so you could keep moving around. I got down to my last house and just sat there waiting for it to get destroyed so I didn't feel that there was an end to the game. Good over all though nice job!

@shay-cichocki Thanks so much for playing :D Good feedback, it definitely has some oversights because of time constraints, but hey that's what gamejams are haha.
