I did notice that Brightman can face bottom-right, bottom-left, top-left but not top-right. \n\nHowever, I had no idea what I was meant to do. You have some instructions on this game page (Charge the energy of your light with crystals; Feed Solar (the flower) with light and keep it alive; Beware of monsters in the dark), but you do not explain the controls. \n\nNothing actually happened to me when the monsters touched me. The enemies didn't damage the flower nor me, so I got really confused to their purpose. Maybe if you introduced the objective as the player enters the game, it would make things more clear.
