Nill by Jonathan Fischer
You find yourself with a box of nothing... but nothing is all you need: use "nothing" in a box to confuse enemies to safely traverse the treacherous maze.
Now with controller support!
Use WASD or the Arrow Keys to move
Use E or Enter to activate your confusion ability
Use P or Esc to access the pause menu and settings
Use Spacebar to skip the intro cutscene
You can also use the mouse to control the camera
When you come across an enemy, they will attack if you get too close within line of sight. They can see you when "!" appears above their head. You cannot use your ability while they are looking at you! Instead, you must sneak up behind them or surprise them. (Or just get by really fast.) If you successfully use your confusion ability, a "?" will temporarily appear above their head and they will not harm you.
Update: Added ability to skip opening cutscene due to rewatching every time you die Added controller support: Left stick to move, Right stick for camera, Left face button to use ability, and start to pause or skip cutscenes Fixed a bug where a torch would appear in front of the camera during ending cutscene

Would love to see more levels, especially if some puzzle elements were added. This has serious potential and I hope you expand on it after the jam is over.
I was ok with the intro the first time, but there really needs to be a way to skip it subsequent times. I know I know this is a game jam, but that makes it even more important, honestly. After I died a second time, I just called it. Was curious to know what was at the end of the maze, it looked interesting over there.
I got some serious flashbacks from the hedge maze in the original Alone in the Dark game!
The movement could have been a little bet better, would have loved to be able to step back and maybe walk a little bit faster there are some weirdness in the animations and some clipping going on, but still very impressive in the time frame.
My only complaints are that controlling the character is sometimes weird and sometimes the hedge would get in the way, blocking the my view of where I was going.
Overall, great job!
