A good idea with much potential. Keep on working on the game.

I love the art style! The camera system feels really nice too.

What I liked: Atmosphere, physics, audio and overall aesthetics of the game.
What I would change: Gameplay mechanics. There really isn't much to do, Im not sure if I missed something, but I was just going to the right endlessly and nothing happened.

@iluvatar yeah, at the start the entry had a lot more gameplay elements but then it turned into more of a playfield rather than the experience I was looking for

Its a good start with workable mechanics. keep developing and you might have a decent game.

Nailed the mood and looks of it all, though it is a bit confusing having the player be a translucent rectangle. It looked good, and it felt good.

This game sounds great, although i think i died by falling to the bottom of the cave without being able to get out!

Cool little experience, the 2/3D pixelated art style is just lovely! I would pretty much see this fleshed out as a complete game with some more mechanics.

Audio part set the mood for me. Movement seemed a bit slow. Adding main character will make the look of the game much better.
Good game

Love the graphics with the light system and 3d like platforms !
I think it needs some story and objectives.

That was interesting. It took me first few seconds before i found out what perspective it is in. What's the idea in character containing this lighting box?

The mood and atmosphere is there but I feel like you ran out of time to add gameplay to it.

@havok06 Actually the game had a lot more gameplay at the start but then the cave turned into more of a playfield rather than the experience that I was looking for.

It's pretty cool but I find it very... *empty*. Not a fan of the jump landing sound effect and I think the music could be a lot more daring (but that's my opinion). The controls could also use some work, I think, since the jump was surprisingly high for the speed of the character. I could see an idea behind it and it can very much be the work I was expecting from the screenshot. Those zoom outs were reaaally cool and gave me a lot of "Oh shiz, what could be down there?" fear that I think embodies the dark, unknown cave. A real nice touch. Hope there's more to come! Kudos.

Good mood, but the gameplay felt kinda barebones. The flickering light was a nice touch to the atmosphere. I'm not sure if there was an end? I got stuck at the bottom of a pit with a small cave to the left and I couldn't really do anything. I guess if the player is supposed to avoid getting down there, there should a restart prompt at the dead end. The framework is there, now you just need to add more gameplay to the world :)

Good starting point, the atmosphere with the music and lights is perfect, and it needs some gameplay now (and a character?), or a more clear view of the labyrinth-ish style of game.

The mood is cool but it definitely needs some extra gameplay

I'm all for more exploratory type games that are meant to be about being lost in a place rather than a lot of traditional gameplay loops, so I very much enjoyed this. The 3D effect with the pixels, and the fading light created such a mood.

I liked the color palette and the overall ambience. Controls were easy to pick up. Took me a second to figure out the shape of the player. Look forward to more!

The relaxing music is nice, the contact sound after jumping a bit harsh, though. I like the lighting effect and it looks like the cave wall is normal mapped. Nice. I also like games which play around with mixing 2D and 3D effects. Unfortunately I could not progress after a while. Needs some work I guess, but good start anyway!

Like all the other people here I like the athmosphere, graphic and sound. But there is not much else to do. Still a nice exploration expierence.

Nice atmosphere and graphics. Sounds are moderate. But nothing more then jumping and moving right ( there may be a bat- suddenly flying out of the darkness :bat: :scream: ). Also some progress indicator can be added. Nice work...
