Server Defense by The Turtle

[raw]
made by The Turtle for Ludum Dare 46 (JAM)

You are a SysAdmin. Unfortunately, your system is riddled with bugs and being attacked by trojan horses, phishing attacks, and viruses. Towers are on the bottom, and the panel on the side displays the tower's properties and allows you to upgrade them. The attacks come from the ethernet port (I know, you haven't used one in over a decade). You're responsible for this server. Keep it alive. Capture3.PNGCapture2.PNGCapture1.PNGCapture.PNG

Please add a option to restart the Level. Nice Idea.

Pretty nice game. I liked how you can select which level to play. Quite complex, yet intuitive as well.

TD games are always fun. I enjoy what some of the towers shoot.

Very nice, although the graphics aren't very good the polish is top notch with level select, level ratings, round tart animations and everything. THIS IS VERY NICE

Interesting premise for a tower defense game! I liked the theming of the game around protecting the server (although admittedly some of the towers don't make a ton of sense being inside a chip. Maybe the game needs an "internet" section before they reach the chip haha). I felt the balancing was off a bit. I went through the first 7 or 8 levels and never used anything besides the CA tower and the firewall. Everything else was so expensive it just felt out of reach! I ended up having no trouble just setting up a firewall and surrounding it with CA towers. Enemies only broke through the firewall once. PS I think there's a small bug where the super towers are more expensive on some levels than others.

Amazing Game. Really different from generic td games. The Graphics are average but that's expected and the UI is ROCK SOLID. The one down side i felt was that it was too easy. I completed every level in first try. Maybe reduce bases health a bit. Was kinda expecting a boss on lv 10. Also in free play my weak pc browser crashed due to the number of certificates being fired at a single enemy:P. Overall Great job.

Wow, gameplay was great, you packed a lot of features into 72 hours, one gripe I have is the backgrounds are a bit rough. The UI is also a bit rough around the edges but the functionality gameplay and mechanics were awesome! Solid entry!

It was the game I played for the longest time in the jam so far. You included many features with a fun play. Good job!
