Love this chill fishing game. Really enjoyed the different fish jokes and find it amazing how distinct you were able to get each area feeling with 1-bit color and music. One complaint is sometimes on I think the desert the land was filled in solid, so the line wasn't super visible.

very original design! The best! I'm a youtuber, your game is very nice! I want to make a video with the best games of LDJam46. Something like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOdTsWE7iIk .
Can I find your game also on indiexpo website? The channel is linked with them.

Very impressive amount of content for a jam game! Thanks for bringing it by the stream!

I loved the art style, the fishing game reminded alot of stardew valley and it was pretty fun, there were some really difficult fish and casting line was a little bit confusing. Other then that great job!

This was really great and very well polished for a jam. The only issue I had was I think the beginning could tutorialize mechanics a bit better and the prices could be a bit higher to progress faster. But overall the aesthetic is on point!

this is a really cool game.
got a bit bored shortly. maybe it needs a story or something.
I didn't feel it needs a lot of skills to catch fish. for harder fish you will just have to wait and get improvements...

how polished and how it works is still amazing and could be a lot more to it of course...

also I have to give it low rating for the theme as it didn't use it very well if at all.

all in all I was amazed by the quality but as a game I didn't find it that much fun or even relaxing in a way that I would love to spend more time in.

but I still find it really cool / polished game. love the visuals and audio.

Wow, I'm super impressed with the amount of content in this game. Thank you for putting in those difficulties with less-grind. Although I spent a lot of time in this game it was nice to have an accelerated mode to get back to rating LD games.

The best part of the game is that every fish has a different personality and fight tied to it. Also, you included very rare fish into the mix too. The combination of both of those made hooking rare fish very satisfying. The spawn rate of those fish were quite low though which is understandable for a longer form game. But I did snag some kind of ultimate, max speed fish once in the ocean but fail to catch it. I went through seemingly 50 octopus but never saw it again so that was a bummer.

Overall a fun game. It's not often that there's an LD game that provides a longer experience with that much breadth so great job on that!

Edit: I think I did miss the LD theme in this one, what was your interpretation?

Woah, those graphics are awoseme, the fact that you get those immersive graphics just by two colors is mind-blowing. Lack of story bored me after a while but other than that it was awesome!

The graphics are very lovely, very GBA-like. The controls are nice, though a touch tricky to get the hang of initially. I wasn't sure if I was clicking *on* the bubbles, or how to aim for the bubbles. There is quite a bit of content in this though, for a Jam game, which is really nice. Good job!

Really attractive game! Really well polished, too. I believe other music could be chosen, and the line throw mechanic is a bit counterintuitive. Other than that, I really like it! You managed to add a lot of variety, that's very cool.

This is one of the best fishing games I have played and you only made it in this short amount of time. Any chance of making it a full game???

I absolutely loved this one and ended up spending 3 hours trying to catch all the fish (more than I consider healthy in LDs haha). I couldn't catch them all, but had a lot of fun with the content.
Considering I didn't quite like the fishing mechanich itself (can't throw the line to the spot I want to save my life), I was doing it for the surprises in fish types and flavor text.
It was addictive as h***, also great art and mood.

PS: I didn't get if the team made all the art during the jam since at least some of it is credited to Kenney's website.

@nathalia-hohl Thanks so much for the feedback! Im working on redoing a lot of the core mechanics in the game, to prepare for a full release. Also, youre totally correct about the graphics, most of them are Kenney assets. I forgot to remove the graphics category from the ratings, and have just done so now. Thanks for the heads up! :)
