Сontrol: - AWSD movement - LMB attack - E grab - "E" need to be kept throughout the stick selection animation

Game was made by two girls (programmer https://vk.com/ikusiya and artist Veronika - wished to remain unknown :)) who formed team "2mice" specially for Ludum Dare 45. The original game concept was about little mouse surviving in harsh post apocalyptic world. But since it was the first time we took part in LD we overestimated ourselves and simply had not enough resources to bring the idea to life :) So we ended up with cheese haunt and and cockroach killing, but we are glad to have what we have at least ^^

Yes, now I understand my mistake, it was necessary to more accurately describe the rules of the game))) The correspondence of the topic here is complete as it seems to me, because our mouse always starts without anything, takes a stick, hits cockroaches, but when I kill it, it starts not from scratch) in that the number of cockroaches at the level of course, as well as the items of support - cheese and sticks. You can only lose if you run out of something from this resource) The task is to build your tactics in such a way as to kill all roaming cockroaches and defeat the guards of big cheese) My main mistake is that I am not talking about this through the visual representation of the game) Thank you very much for the feedback, and it helps to correct criticism of its mistakes, which are not always visible from the position of the developer)

Well done! It took me a few tries

I like the art style and animations. Props for completing a core gameplay loop, complete with an ending screen.
A small tweak for next time could be to give instant feedback to all valid actions -- it took me a while to figure out how to pick-up the branches because very little moved when I pressed the key (at first I thought it was broken).

Only after your video above I realize that for grabbing stick I need hold button E, not just quick press. Game is tiny, but looks good and cute. I like your scheme of core loop mechanics. I suppose you have a lot of things what you can improve in your developing process on the next ludum dare :o)

(@yaroslav-kravtsov ну учитывая что игра задумывалась совсем другой - однозначно есть куда расти)

The game looks really, really cute and has a nice feel going!. You have some cool ideas there, thanks for publishing your design ideas!

Playing the game sadly feels quite unresponsive. Having to hold E is really counterintuitive, in fact, I only figured it out after looking through the comments. Attacking also feels quite slow/delayed. It sometimes felt like my inputs weren't registered. Maybe the cooldown for attacking could be shorter.

Nevertheless, keep it up, I can see your vision :) Running out of time is part of Ludum Dare :D

I really loved the artwork and animations.
Picking up a stick is too hard to do but after you have a weapon fighting feels awesome! Die you ugly roaches die!

Thank you for making this game! I enjoyed playing it!

Nice music and graphics. I like the teeth icon and the bugs were very scary! The mouse moves just a little too slow and controls makes it a bit frustrating to play.

Cool game! I love the art style! Maybe some changes on the grabbing so it was faster and the win condition, having reset when you attack is a little frustrating, maybe have it so that it resets if you take damage? that way you dont punish players with better timing :) Really fun though, good job.

I will add this text to the description of the game, suddenly it will help someone not to step on this rake)))
