It has a certain 'Undertale' feeling to it in music, visuals and humor. I was laughing so hard, when I saw guillotine in doctor's office.
Jump mechanic was a little weird, but got used to it. Overall it was very fun to go around, talk to different creatures and collect relics.

Great atmosphere. There is a lot of content for an LD game and the writing was very good.

This game has great humor and music, I liked the chiptune breakbeat at the end. I'm not sure I finished the game properly though: I got all artifacts and there was the ceremony at the top, and then everyone stands there.

It was a bit buggy though, I could fly around by holding the jump key and running into walls and ceilings. But a fun experience nonetheless!

I really enjoyed it! I could definitely tell it was inspired by Undertale - even the one song that played down in the cave place was almost exactly the same as one of the songs in Undertale. But that's not bad - it was neat! Loved the funny parts, and the graphics were good! I liked the yellow tint whenever you went into a shop type building.

I noticed though that I can jump again when I'm against a wall, I don't know if that's supposed to happen or not. It was also inconvenient at times for the jump button to be the same as the interaction button - maybe make them different? I also have no idea if I even finished the game after collecting all the relics and reporting to the mayor.

But overall it was really enjoyable game!

I've dowwnloaded the game, ans get really exited when I open. The art was great, and the music two.
But the game doesn't start never.

It stopped in this screen, and nothing that I press/do make it go.

I love the style, however the color palettes are not the easiest on the eye (especially the green and yellow one, as shown in a screenshot I believe on the game page). I would also suggest you spice up this page a bit, it should be a billboard but the only thing I see is a mixture of credits and a dev log.

Now that aside ! The chiptune is amazing and the storytelling gave me a giggle or two! Well done :)

I couldn't really play your game, I feel like it'is running faster than was intended, if I tap an arrow key, the character flies through the screen. I'll try it later and I'll give grades then. Have a nice day.

Fun little game. The writing was a nice change of pace for a jam game, along with the fantastic music to set the mood. The art style was nice, but did get a bit rough to stare at after a while.

The bugs with the physics were jarring to play with, but it didn't really matter too much for what the game was trying to do. The interact and jump button being the same was also kind of annoying for the couple of times where it was relevant.

Overall nice game. Good job!

Downloaded it for the super cool art style. The game was quick, but a fun adventure game nonetheless. My main criticism would be to make the jump and interact button different. Maybe it is 'X' to interact with people. THat way you dont jump after every conversation. Overall, a cute little adventure game!

The atmosphere in this game is lovely! Really like the CGA graphics. The characters and dialogue is fun to read I fell in love with the music! (can I find it anywhere?) The player character was a bit weird to control but overall this short game put a huge smile on my face and it was hard not to laugh when I saw old granpa sanic! Thank you!!

Wow, this is one of my favourite game of LD46. The idea and the mechanics are so cool. Graphics and music are fabulous. The story is cute and feels good.
Movement is a little bit weird and you can fly if you go to the invisible wall of the end of the map and jump. In general movement is weird but it's good enough to play the game.

If you make a full version of this game I will play it. Congratulations for what a good jam entry

PD: I love the main menu song

I think your grounded check looks for any collision and sets you as grounded. I was able to fly by pressing up against a wall or roof. Weirdly enough it kind of added to the bizarre otherwordly atmosphere though. This entry definitely has something odd about it that stands out. The art is neat, I like the hand drawn aesthetic mixed with sprites. The contrast between the chiptunes and more organic music is odd but again, it kind of adds to the atmosphere, and I think the compositions were in general pretty good, but the chiptune was a little grating after a certain amount of time. It also doesn't really fit the theme, but that might just be my interpretation. Anyway, I don't want to sound negative, I genuinely think there's something interesting and unique about this game's atmosphere that stands out. Good job!
