good job!
I was always loosing more money than earning the two first runs then I figured my way out through maxing out work, kitchen and the tribble cage levels. Satisfying experience! I wonder how other players did it :)
Would have been nice to have some more varied music, and the balancing could use some work. my first play-through I ended up a debt slave and just restated the game, second time around I found that one day of like 8 baths and 1 reactor repair gave me 2 full days of work so I could in to this 3 day cycle. anyways really good work!
The audio is very nice too!
But the gameplay was kind of clunky. I didn't know exactly why the game wasn't letting me do the things. I clicked and nothing happened. It would be nice to have some kind of feedback, like "you don't have enough health" or something like that. This made me click on everything and I happened to lose a lot of money, turning into an eternal debt haha. I don't know if this was intended or not but I couldn't progress any further.
Besides that, it is a very good looking game with an awesome mood, nice job!
Music was really not to my taste, so thank you for including a way to turn off the radio :).
One strange thing I found (Maybe a bug? Or simply oversight) - the maintenance of the ship takes away 50 bucks. But the description doesn't say anything about that. And it does cite costs with everything else. So I'm not sure if the cost of maintenance is intended and just not mentioned or if I just encountered a bug. Also, after upgrading, maintaining the ship also started to increase my happiness. Again, not sure if a bug or a feature :)
Thank you for a cool game experience!

Great work on this one! The assets and use of lighting definitely give the game a nice atmosphere, and the monotony of trying to turn a profit for that final upgrade hit me with a wave of Flash game nostalgia I wasn't prepared for.
I did have a strange problem where the mouse cursor was locked despite being in the upgrade shop. It wasn't a huge deal as I was able to back out of the menu with Esc. I also had the game load up in the wrong resolution, with my UI crossing the borders of the screen.
Overall, I had a good time with this one. I liked that old-school browser game sense of progression and it definitely nailed this LD's theme.
Great job for a compo !

Game is very nicely balanced. I have only upgraded plants twice and reactor once and started grinding cash to FTL. I hope I did not miss anything, as when I bought the drive nothing happened. Not sure if I should get more levels of FTL?
One of the best I have played so far.
Cheers!
So many assets in so little time are super impressive, especially for a Compo! The radio song was perfectly chosen for the sedated, calm lifestyle portrayed. Would have been nice to have some more in-game indications, but in that short timeframe this needed to be done, I really don't want to complain too much.
What I do feel is a shame is that you obviously spent a lot of time on the upgrade system, yet a small amount of players will ever see them as the pacing of the game is rather slow... or maybe I'm just a moron who missed an obvious mechanic (wouldn't be the first time).
Nice, grindy game for a chill evening!
