A fast-paced arcade game with lots of love!

Your goal in this game is to protect Ralph Rabbit‘s prized turnip from the ever-growing insect army. Being in control of Ralph, fend off the five different types of flying and crawling fiends by whacking them with your pitchfork, stomping them or by using three different special powers.

Inspired by Cupheads Mausoleum levels, we tried taking a simple game idea and getting the maximum of fun out of it. The game features an interactive Tutorial, which is why we have not included one on the game page. Also, we have implemented a Social Media sharing function and an SQL Server-based global Highscore board, so get up on that ladder!

We hope you'll have as much fun as we did developing the game.

It looks nice and seems like a lot of effort was put into it. Especially enjoyed the tutorial. However the collision detection was rough, and couldn't play it very well. One of the problems was that the downwards attack was limited in effectiveness and yet the enemies required a lot of height to be effective aginst. Either way congrutaltions!

nice artwork and audio. You make me wish we had done a global highscore feature!

A good scoring with a good idea. I have some problems with hitbox.

Pretty nice game. Feels kind of easy, but at the same time kind of frustrating: the combo system is easy to use (which is good--it's satisfying) and the biometer builds up really fast, but your attacks make you unable to hit enemies--and in a way that I don't feel adds a FUN challenge.

A very creative game! I can tell that a lot of passion went into this. I think the tutorial could have been streamlined to get into the action quicker, but it explained the game very clearly. Overall had a great time!

Currently 7th lol, I don't know how people are getting 300k points. I wonder if the slow motion is OP? idk, all in all good game. I liked the feel of the controls and it was pretty fun. Not a huge fan of the art, but maybe just preference. I went through the tutorial but started getting bored so I kinda skipped through haha
Our games seem like they were pretty similar in the core goal. If you get a chance let me know what you think of mine! Thanks

The tutorial, global highscore and bonus multiplier were really good and nice to see addons to the game. The game fully made me want to get top score but the hitboxes and physics are a little weird and i didn't want to give it another go. Despite that, the programming is something i have good regards towards the game, well... 4 coders hahaha but it lacks of feel, if the attacking animationg were a bit more solid, maybe it would help with that.

Great character choice for the mechanics. I like how bright and colorful the sprites were, scrolling background and shadows is a nice touch. Audio is great and the leader board integration is really impressive for such a short development time. Great Job!

the tutorial felt a bit long winded and the controls weren't super intuitive at first but it was fun to play once I got into it. great game!

Great game with a lot to it! Gameplay didn't quite feel smooth and controls felt a little odd at first (I am just bad with coordination though...) Real cute graphics though and the game felt like a proper game with the tutorial, menu and leaderboard etc. Sound was also really nice.

Really impressed with the addition of a leaderboard, and the game has a chill music too. The hitbox and movement feels a little weird, but it's still fun to play. The effort put into making a tutorial is also remarkable :D Nice work!
