Welcome to Dracenzoid

The last living mushroom has been stolen from your planet. You must protect and ensure it lives. Use your mouse cursor to aim (left button is fire/right click fires a missile (if you have them) and WASD to move, space to jump. Missiles will spawn through out the level. Keep your supply up to deal with the rollers. The mushroom must live!!

I make no guarantees on the Mac version as I don't have MacOS to test on. Runs best on Linux64 or Windows64

Good fun, I couldn't survive for very long! The graphics are really nice for a game jam. To offer some criticism I wonder if it would be more fun if the weapon was autofire? Also, I had a crash on Windows when switching window context (i.e. clicking on another application window). Finally, some birds seemed to be extra difficult to hit (the ones on ground level). All in all, great job!

Nice art, and audio. Jumping is very floaty (Might be intended), and gets frustrating, but is still fun.

@electric-blue This is the 3rd godot game I cannot run on osx catalina. What's your trick as it runs for you?

Plays really good!
The enemies spawn a bit too fast, there's no time to grab new missiles.
Is there an ending? If not, a score would be great, or a timer :)

Other than that, well done, and a polished entry!

A super simple game idea and overall fun little platform game. I love the sound effects and the graphics is also pretty good. The controls is easy to use and worked well for a platform game. But for me the game got too difficult too fast. Overall a fine jam game. Well done.

Thanks for the feedback. The balance was an endless experiment in tweaking. A few things I would do is make the armored rollers be killed by one missle instead of one bullet and missle, reduce the difficulty ramp, and widen the arena.

Wonderful 2D platformer. Process of playing was cool. But it is interesting, why we shuold try to safe fungus.

I felt the enemies were to hard to kill and the fact that you had to click to shoot made it annoying and It cramped my finger. Other than that, Great game!

Cool style and game mechanics, but it felt almost impossible because the enemies seemed to spawn faster than I could shoot. I figured out I could hide under the z shaped platform to lure most flying enemies into a corner though, so I survived a while doing that, but when my rockets ran out it was all over. :D
