10/10 music! Colors and sprites were great too - amazing for 48 hours (::

Cool entry! I like your take on the theme, there is a good feeling. I think it'd be interesting to have snappier controls at low speed to aim more precisely. Good job!

✔️ The pixel graphics look really good and fit the game nicely.

✔️ The difficulty is almost perfectly balanced.

✔️ The overall effect during charging with the light and sound effects is very well made.

➖ I would have liked to see a few more enemy types, but overall very well done.

Love the thumping bass, makes the frantic gameplay much more fun. I wish I could know a bit more when I am at minimum energy.

Okay, that was fun! Sound design fits gameplay very well! Color palette is nice, too! I would prefer more control over "charge -> shoot" cycle. It seems like there's no difference how fast you spin. Slower spins even worked better as they allowed to shoot more packed bullets at the desired direction, whereas when you spun like crazy, you could't aim at all, and bullets were shot at the same rate. I would've made some balanced thing, like "slower = more accurate" and "faster = more powerful", something like that. Coupled with "inertia" mechanics that is already in your game, and some clever level disign, this could lead to some very addictive hardcore game. But oh well, 48h is not a lot. Still, pretty good entry.

Outstanding music, I really liked shooting and jamming :D

Good idea with the charge and shoot mechanic, very easy to get into and clear how it works with the nice 'tutorial' when you start the game. The simple but nice graphics look and feel great and also fit with the music and sound effects.

Adding the current and total number of waves to go really made this feel better for me and I wanted to finish it, I really liked that over infinite waves here, so thanks for that!

That was fun :)

Thanks to have played my game ! it's always a great satisfaction after 48h of hard work to see people playing and enjoying your game. Also, thank you for all your feedbacks I really appreciate it !

Some ways for improvement : Better accuracy at low speed, better indicator of low energy, more enemies, changing rate/power depending on speed

@freeworld I'm glad you said that ! For this ludum I wanted the player to understand the principle and controls easily in game. I also wanted an indicator of progression. Those two guidelines, I think, are keys to provide a great game experience to the player especially in the ludum dare context.

Thanks !

Okay game but it was good for the theme! The audio was well done as well. I would have liked to have seen more enemies and levels, the control for the ball was a bit weird as well and it was a bit of a pain to balance between charging up and aiming.

The music rocks! The sound effects, the animations and the gradients that energize the 'charge' all build really nicely. The mechanic is tied nicely to the theme, even when it gets unwieldy at times: spinning charges you faster but makes it really hard to aim, forcing different styles of play. Overall a nice interpretation of the theme and a nice game.
