@blabberf To be completely honest there was a time constraint we would have liked to introduce checkpoint but due to time that was the first feature we had to scrap.
@no-grapes-games we were going to make it so if the egg got hit it would die too and have more meaningful levels with the egg at its center ( for example areas that are covered in ice where you have to use the torches to make sure it stays warm to get it through to the end) but we ended up having to cut that out after some hiccups same with the checkpoints we were going to introduce a half point checkpoint but didn't have time to implement that either. Thank you so much for your feedback its super appreciated and will keep that in mind going forward if we decide to keep exploring this idea and make it into a full release.

@Aik Its beatable but the levels are overturned due to time constraints of the jam a lot of the levels were still being tweaked up until the final hour of the jam while putting all the art in.
We will probably update it and definitely fix the spike hitboxes :)
Bit buggy with the gravity occasionally being disabled or something, and it seemed like some spikes the egg could kill, and some killed the egg, so that was a thing. I thought the conveyor belt areas were the most thematic. Getting to the egg to warm it up before time ran out. Those were my favorite mechanics. There were situations that I found myself waiting around for the egg to warm up though, and that was not the best experience. Was that going to be an additional function of the checkpoints? Some of them seemed well positioned for that.
Overall quite enjoyable.
@gamecarpenter Thanks for your feedback, glad to see despite the bugs there's still an enjoyable game. Most of the levels were my original design but as I still had to work on 2 of the days I couldn't adjust them. The levels were barley changed however, more spikes were added quickly and some of their hitboxes I've noticed are off.
@rafa-braga Thanks man, idk if you looked for our game after I played yours or if this is just coincidence but I appreciate it. Like I said early some spikes were added last minute and the hitboxes are a little bigger than what they should be but I'm glad you liked it.
