@indigo Yeah I Wanted to make the background and foreground more apparent but didn't have enough time. Thanks for the feedback.
@untitled-studios Thanks, I take pride in my people crushing mechanics.
@tulipekoni @dkdwrek Thanks :)
Anyway great entry!
@enzoup You know the say "you can't make an game without squising a few people".
Loved the simplicity in the controls, small and clear.
Keep it up
In the beginning I had a little trouble with the jump mechanic, I was expecting a hold and float, so kept holding down space which when timed poorly leads to unintentional re-jumps on landing. Once I realized it was all timing the jump and not prolonging it I progressed much quicker.
Good progression, introducing twists on already established patterns, and tricking the user in a few places into breaks from those patterns. A bit of a memory game mechanic, playing on the loop theme.
Good use of theme.
Good feedback from everything, it all felt pretty right. Sometimes the pink bouncers felt a little unfair, but the crunch doesn't always allow for adjustments.
Great job!
A lot of the game felt fairly good, like a slow Sonic but you can run over people lol. There was a part in the first level I got stuck on for quite a while. Right before the portal, there is a big jump. However, there are also humans dropping down on that area. I got beaned in the head like 3 times in a row so I figured it was an intentional obstacle (in retrospect, I don't think it was).
I realized it must've been due to the height I am entering that area with. So instead of jumping directly onto the side to side bumpers, I timed it so I would hit it with a half jump. That ended up working for me.
I know the mechanics probably aren't coded like that, but I just figured you'd wanna hear a player breakdown of how the levels seem to work :P
Overall, have an endless runner that isn't a ninja or animal is pretty cool in my book. It gives the rock of ages feeling but in a new kind of format. Cool game :)
**Here is my feedback:**
**What I liked?**
- Nice main menu.
- Good visuals.
- Good mechanics, and gameplay.
- I liked the particles effect.
- The background music.
- Amount of increased score popup.
---
**What I disliked?**
- I can let the rock move by itself from the beginning and increase my score.
- If the game is blurred, didn't like the blur.
- Too much post-processing
- The SFX are a bit high.
---
**Bugs:**
- The rock stops moving here. Moving up inaccessible. [1]
- Sometimes the rock glitches when it is falling.
---
**Suggestions:**
- Ability to reload the game.
- Camera shake.

@acuriosity Thank you for playing. Yeah the bouncers are a bit buggy there wasn't enough time to fully play test them.
@peachtreeoath I deeply appreicate the feedback. It is meant to be an obstacle I think that it's just a little to random.
@ms-annotation-x Thank you for your in-depth feedback. I didn't really focus on the score too much with the game it was a last-second edition so there are a lot of areas you can do that. And the bugs I know exist just wasn't enough time to fix them.
It was a bit hard to make the difference between foreground and background sometimes, the music doesn't really fit with the gameplay and mood imho :)
I had to play it through and finish it anyway! Good entry! Congrats.
