Just one thing, is there actually any way the others can catch the ball in the middle top or bottom? This spots seemed totally safe everytime.

Seriously basically no flaws (since it's also really small) and the arm movements and transitions are incredible, especially considering you made it in that weird virtual experimental computer, it must've been hell to get them to work that well.
Only complaint I would have is the difficulty, I'd maybe add 1 or 2 more lives, and/or reduce the timer, though I did manage to beat it.
Maybe I should watch slam dunk...

The difficulty increase well. You should add character animations when player success or fail to protect baloon in order to make the game more epic.
