Metamagotchi by onnofal

Keep your Metamagotchi alive! (well the virtual pet cannot die, because it is simply not implemented :)
It is mostly becoming classic that I am unable to complete Compos into finished games. I've spent nonsense amount of time on implementing the least important things, knowing it, but what other goal is there than to have fun.
The only working mechanic here is you being unable to pet your virtual Metamagotchi (using Left Device Button) in case your device's circuits are failing. So keep your circuit board alive by replacing broken parts!
Thanks for playing.

Might be worth making replacing components a bit trickier (like choosing from an assorted bin of components with a time limit) as just clicking makes the gameplay a little simple.
@listonos @kromeboy @chloeofarroyo @freya-c You all are totally right when addressing primitive gameplay or no proper challenge. The primary idea was to fork your attention into "maintaining two systems at once" and picking parts from some sort of palette was in my mind to. I was just unable to implement it fully and the Tamagotchi part at all :)
Also, if you haven't seen it already, here is another really well made tamagotchi game : https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/46/save-dave
Would love to see a finished version =)
Maybe I will come back later to finish it - there is more to add in a branch I am more skillful - considering it first time after a gamejam, so may happen. Thank you
