This game is perfection! I love the concept, the art, and the execution. Very addictive. I might suggest that you start the character off with a slower speed. Also, was there supposed to be sound because I didn't hear anything.

Good level generation! Although I would like an ending for the game but I guess that's against the point xD Music's cool and the idea's funny

A fun simple idea.

The difficulty spikes too fast though. And the bagel generation seems pure randomness, sometimes it insta appear and other times there is none.

Also the fact that you can't collect all the veggies in the bonus stage feels bad D:

Really fun idea, I enjoyed my time with it. Graphics were very well done and nice and silly to boot! I found the dichotomy of the two worlds was a little jarring (no jarred food pun intended), I wasn't sure why one wouldn't want to interact with every bagel they saw. Some healthy items in the unhealthy world and vise versa as well as spreading (no bagel pun intended) out the bagel spawns might help incentivize the player to move around more in the overworld and really seek out the bonus worlds.

Yeah! Score 795 :-) Really nice and funny idea was fun to play it. Being able to collect all the veggies in the bonus level would be cool. Solid entry. Good job.

@funemaker thank you for your feedback. There is supposed to be music in the game, altough we didn´t have the time to add sound effects.

@ollie-hall thank you for playing our game :)

@irx99 you are right. We didn´t find the time to balance the game out. Aprreciate your feedback. Thanks!

@conneli thank you for playing and sharing your thoughts. Always good to get some insight on the tought process of different people.

@c64gamer thank you for playing. Glad you enjoyed it.

Note to ourselfs: If there are veggies they want all of them.

Quite nice! Sometimes the food items seem impossible to avoid in the unhealthy land, but I guess that's life? ;)

This was a very polished game. I appreciated the work you put into the levels (the animals staring at you were hilarious) and the final stuck animation :)

I find it funny how our games have the exact opposite objective lol.
Neat simple game. Cool graphics! The music on healty land is a bit too high pitched for my ears. Also I think there is a countdown when comming back from healty land that is not being shown on screen?

Really neat game! I like all the animations of the character, and "healthyland" is a pretty funny name! Great job on your first Ludum Dare!

A super simple and fun little game. I wish there was a bit more to the gameplay, but I did had fun playing the game.

The graphics are pretty charming, and the controls work well. I think you could actually take the idea of warping to different worlds further, like maybe a jogging world where you speed up for more difficulty, but it helps you lose any weight you gained from the fastfood world.

@svntax we thought about that when we brainstormed our idea, but both of us are beginner in game dev (this is actually our first game ever) so things took longer (due to lack of knowledge) and we ran out of time.

What a cool game in an unsound world! Easy to control and simple impacts! Funny idea to jump into a "bad" bagel to come in "good" healthy land; exciting graphic backdrops, keep it up!
