This is super cute! I saw cats and I had to play! The mechanic is neat, and the puzzles are rewarding to solve!

Great picks for music, got me all pumped up. Nice puzzle/action game and I love the concept.

Very cool game design. I liked that you synced it with the music, very catchy. I found it a bit hard to understand, especially because I had difficulties identifying different levels of conveyor belts. Small tips with new mechanics would help. Overall great effort!

Game looked cool. Though some of the level design didn't lend itself tot he isometric view and I got super confused by how things moved and fell. But it was a very interesting puzzle game.

schrödinger is super fitting to this theme, and the design of the levels was very good, keep it up :)

I loved it! Clever puzzle game with a good difficulty. The graphics are cute and the musics are funny sometimes. I think I would exploit a bit more the shrodingger paradox in the gameplay somehow. But anyway, great job !

Cats! in colourful boxes!? Great game! I really enjoyed the puzzles and they weren't too hard. I liked the music too :)

I love that everything is synced to the beat, it made it easier to follow the rhythm in my head. Also the art is really cute and I love the little bounce the boxes and the truck had each beat. Really nice! I completed the game and the puzzles felt a bit challenging but really rewarding! :D Very good overall! Congrats on completing a game.

Great idea for gameplay. With the clean and 3d angles! Good work. But the sound a little bit repetitive. And the graphics are basic.. Not original design!

Hi @xlekai, thank you so much for your feedback!

I was wondering what you meant by "not original design". As far as I know, it's a unique concept, and we made everything but the music and font ourselves :)

Awesome game, took a bit for my brain to catch up to the mechanics.
I especially love the rhythm based element in there.

Pretty fun! The later levels get a bit overwhelming, especially since the box spawners don't give you very much time to think. I love how everything is synchronized with the music.

Great puzzler! The graphics may be simple, but they're cute and easy to read, so in my opinion they're pretty good. I loved seeing everything bop to the music! I suffered a bit on some of the more heavily timing-based sections, and there were a couple early bits that I think I solved by accident without fully understanding what I did, but on the whole it was a solid and original puzzle game, which I know isn't easy in a game jam setting. I'd definitely like to play more of this if you decide to continue working on it after the jam.

@notnullnotvoid Thank you for your kind feedback. We are thinking of turning it into a real game, so it's very useful :).

In case you have notifications on: Do you think the game works better with or without time-based sections?

I think it kinda fits sometimes, but I'm not sure where the balance lies..

It definitely seems like if you remove the timing-based sections, the game would lose a bit of its personality or identity. And they add some depth for sure, so I'd be sad to see them removed entirely. I think being under time pressure while also trying to figure out a new mechanic may have been what was tripping me up. And on the very last level, I think it would be nice be given time to survey the level and come up with a plan at first, instead of being thrown right into the action each time the level resets.

@notnullnotvoid you can sit still and wait after you get off the first conveyor, but yeah, that level turned out a bit mean..

Thank you for the notes, we really appreciate it :).

That was hilarius. I love the overall feel of the game, it's fun. The music fits the game but gets a bit repetitive after a while.

I played on Android and would've prefered some colored buttons to trigger the actions instead of touching the objects as I sometimes hit the wrong object.

@gagapete Wow, so cool that you played on mobile. I definitely see how it could get difficult to hit the right color..

Thanks for playing :).

Woah, what an awesome game! I love the movement with the beat, the timing of it all, and the introduction of extra boxes at the end. The thing that I struggled with was the height of the level, it often wasn't obvious which parts of the stage were elevated, and it wasn't clear what tile a box would land on if it fell. Otherwise, this game was awesome, it felt great moving with the beat, and that last level was quite the doozy! Congrats!

Great game! Love the music with the game. I couldn't figure out how to quit out once the game was playing though - mac download.

@emmyoop Thanks for playing! You're right there's no way to quit when you're in a level, but there's a quit button on the start/end screen. Did that one not work on mac?
Skovtrolden

Alternatively, you should be able to quit with cmd-q on a mac - but not sure if that works

This is cool! The mechanic is simple, but has much potential to make various levels. Also I love the art style. It is funny to see the boxes and the truck vibing to the music. Good job!

Good idea! I think you're onto something here, though the current execution is a little rough around the edges as noted by previous commenters. I think the design could be cleaned up and pared down a little, made more focused because right now there are a ton of different moving parts (pardon the pun).

Very nice little game! Gameplay is simple but the puzzles are quite fun, if not very complicated.

I liked the graphic style and the general vibe of the game. Thumbs up!

However, are we really keeping the cat alive if his actual state is a superposition of both death and life untill we open the box? Or are we just keeping him in a state of uncertainty

I really don’t understand some people, how did the game score so low in graphics? Personally I loved the style of the game, and it was heaps of fun too! I’d say you deserved a better rating, but regardless, best of luck for your future projects!

@justcamh Aw thanks for saying that, that means a lot :). We wanna continue developing the game once exams are over, so it's good to know we're on the right track haha.
