A little disappointed there were no triads... Honestly though, this was worth it for the music (your blog post on creating the music was actually what brought me here). I got stuck on a wall a couple times at the start, and it wouldn't let me keep moving. After two restarts, I knew what was coming, so I got past it. Once I got all the power-ups and got the ending, I left it running on auto for a few minutes just to listen to the music more.

Amazing chip tune, so cool. Just let it run a couple of minutes extra after I got the ending, to listen some more. Nice game with a nice twist to the genre.

Nice game ! Fun to play and to watch at the end over and over again !

I played this for way longer than I intended to and kept watching after the end. It's a bit difficult to press up and down at the same time, but still really fun. Feels very fast with the loop effect and the great soundtrack.

Had a good time with this one! Simple and really polished!

Really cool entry and cool aesthetics, if there's one gripe I have it's that the design of some objects made it a bit difficult to be focused on the game, other than that, fantastic entry!

The game is fun and I like the mechanic that you can get smaller to pass obstacles, but it made me a little bit motion sick.

Nice game! But i would preffer to switch the graphics of the tubes and the doors.

Really nice music! I didn't really realise what was going on with the upgrades until I'd beaten the game -it wasn't until the credits appeared that I started looking at other parts of the screen and saw all the "auto"s. Maybe there could be some way to highlight them as they change? Overall, a very atmospheric game!

I didn't know there were powerups. I read your game description but completely forgot about it then I read the comment above mentioning about powerups. When I was playing I thought they were the neon signs, I jumped and I thought my depth perception was wrong, lol. I seriously didn't see any powerup. So I played again and now I notice the powerups. Maybe I was busy at first trying to coordinate my key inputs to have a smooth run. When I got the powerup some inputs got automated and then I was like "oh so that's why my jump input got automated on my first run". Maybe add more feedback to let the player know the inputs have been automated because when I first saw the arrow keys on the top right I figured it's just a little guide and just stopped glancing over (there's nothing really there to look at).

It was fun when I finally got used to it! Music is good.

I loved this! Very good implementation of the theme and I really liked the art, despite feeling a bit nauseous after quitting the game... ;-)
The music is fantastically thought out, having the drums/melodies work as sfx (being triggered by your actions) is a super cool idea and the build-up when unlocking the power-ups is very nice!
Great job guys!

Nice 3D work, good job on automatisation but more we go throught the game more it's simple it's strange...
Well done for the game but need some more mechanics to be fully enjoyable.

I like the music and the graphics. But the controls are a bit hard to master especially with the 3D perspective of the game. You don't always know when u have to jump or crouch. You just get used to it after a certain amount of time. The game in general is good but a bit hard so focusing on this as an improvement would be make a great game !

Great job for the jam overall !

I love the fact that you're running around in an actual giant loop, I also liked the graphics and thought the gameplay was a lot of fun but the random really high pitched sounds in the sound effects and music were a bit much for me, I liked the rest of the audio when those really high pitched sounds weren't happening.

The game is good, nice graphic, nice gameplay.

Tiny disadvantages:
- No Audio Control
- Perspective making game a little not readable for me

But generally is ok. Funny concept of shrinking :)

The way the sounds of your actions sort of blend in the music theme is awesome. The level structure is also so damn cool!
The difference between obstacles took some time to get used to, I thought for sure that I could fit under the... cyberpunk fence thing, but you have to jump over it. However, after 10 seconds, you easily get used to it.
Very special game overall!

The only complain about the game is the volume, way too loud. Besides that, very well done. On one side it was satisfying to see it go by itself and making it easier, but on the other, I felt I was getting better at the game but no way to show it. Did you try the other way around? Like you are stuck in a loop and had to break free by getting more freedom by the artifacts?
Garet
08. Oct 2020 · 10:34 UTC
@marcusuke That was one of our original idea to go the other way around, but we found it interesting to trick the player into stucking himself in the loop by looking for too much simplicity !

Ending the game by being stuck rather than breaking the loop was an intersting experimentation and well into the theme !

Thanks a lot for your feedback !

There's so much amazing about this game, but the adaptive soundtrack was next level. Really enjoyed my time with it. Great job!

Nice ! I agree with one point, is that the perspective / how the camera is oriented is a bit strange but exepted that I enjoyed :)

Hell yeah! I'm still listening to music while I'm writing this message! I got into the game well, I found it very clever not to force the move at the beginning, but only after 2 items picked up, it allowed me to understand the controls and get used to the patterns, well done! I'm almost frustrated that it doesn't go on any longer !!! Thank you!

Whoa, I just quit out and my vision is swimming from the sudden stop of all that motion. Cool! I got to the credits. It's an interesting mechanic where the game gets easier as you go. Creative. And I like the evolving music, too! A fun little experience.

Took me a while at the end to realise everything was on auto lol. Googd music and look to the game and nice meshing of the input and sound. On this point it would be nice to have a few sections with perhaps just jumps to other platforms and nothing to stop your momentum just so you can enjoy that a little more without interruptions. Overall though nicely executed

The aesthetics and graphics look extremely cool and I really want to try it! But I am on a Mac :( any chance there can be a web or Mac version?

Thank you everyone for you kind words :3
@maxflav Sadly I tried to make a webGL build, but the game has serious issues with performance, so it doesn't work at all :/ And we don't have Mac to make the build :/ But i'm glad you like the aesthetic. The sound is pretty cool too, @garet, the sound-designer, will make a long version of the music so instead of being able to play, you will be able to listent to the music...

Nailed the look, this was more of a Tron like cyberpunk city! The music was really nice, I like how you had vertical adaptive music in the game.
Some feedback on power-ups would be nice, the camera was a bit dynamic but still had tiny problems with depth perception, nothing game breaking.
Congratulations to the whole team on the submission! All the best for your future projects!

I love the visual in this game. The looping look was spot on. The controls were pretty tricky compared to most infinite runners, so that added a little bit of frustration to the experience. Overall though, a great game.

Caught me and didn't let go for quite a few minutes  Nice job! Dig the aesthetics and the audio work. I found it hard to see much further than my immediate view, so couldn't really plan collection of powerups (nor did i notice them for a significant while), perhaps there's something to be done with the camera angle? Or maybe making collectibles pop more?

Very cool visual style, but gameplay needed polishing. Controlls feel weird, especially hodling up arrow and down arrow at the same time. Maybe it will be better to add autorun and just restart level at the collision, because stopping feels very weird. Overall I liked this game a lot, especially visual style. Good job!

It had me stuck in a loop, that's for sure. It's a bit hard to proceed and each time you don't get the upgrade it takes a long time before you get the opportunity again, maybe decrease it after each fail, but never lower then a certain amount. Could never make the jump on the roofs, only had the space bar left, it seemed like I feel through the floor sometimes, the graphics has a lot of thin lines and doesn't look to well to be honest as they flicker, couldn't choose my resolution.

I felt like I had a pretty good grasp on the controls once I finished collecting all of the powerups, definitely would have enjoyed another level at that point, so kudos for getting me invested in the mechanics! I found the screen to be a bit noisy, especially when looking in the distance to plan upcoming routing, maybe a few less illuminated poly lines on the environment models in the distance? Nice work! :D

Incredible work! Your game is very creative and fun. It is an excellent interpretation of the theme. Different and unique, I think it is extremely rewarding to leave each button in automatic mode every time you can find the item. The graphics are very beautiful, as well as the sound is very well designed. In general it is a pleasant experience. I hope you will consider making an expanded and commercial version of your game. Good job.
