The year is 20XX. Humanity is on the brink of extinction. The City of Neckar is the last bastion remaining to defend against the Legion of Quack. In the final battle, the evil Quacklord was halted by the psychic Lady Tsunenaga, who was able to enter his mind and recreate his conquest in a virtual simulation, locking him in eternal stasis... at the expense of her corporeal form.

The mutants have risen up and will do whatever it takes to restore Quacklord's body and defeat Tsunenaga. Only the mighty hero Zo can stop them.

I liked the art, but the die animation was missing.
The music emphasised the action character of the game.

It was really fun to play. The detail for me to stand out was after a game over there is no way to reset. I needed to refresh the web to play again

Hmm I like the design of the game, maybe a little bit more storytelling will be good. Also no possibility to reset the game after losing is frustrating. But really good artwork. :)

I really enjoyed the art style. The enemies are kind of creepy looking!
The gameplay is really simple, short, and easy. But it IS a jam game, after all.

Good work!

I died on the very last second on my first attempt... I would have been nice to be able to restart the game from there without reloading the page to make me feel less bad about myself. Anyways the 2 different end screens look really cool and balancing how far you go away from Tsunenaga was pretty fun.

Beautiful handdrawn art! Reloading the game for restarting was a little annoying.

Really liked the art style!
Only recommendation would be some slight audio variation in enemy death, and a way to reload the game.

Neat sprite art! The ridiculousness of the enemies being various types of cyber-ducks is very 1990s. Is the main character based on Trunks from DBZ by the way? He has big Trunks energy. The game itself is a little simple and a bit easy. Some different types of attacks might make it a bit more varied, maybe a way to juggle the enemies or something. I could see a Megaman style charged attack working here too I also felt like jumping was unnecessary.

Cool game! I was just warming up, and things were starting to get tough, multiple enemies were about to touch the stasis thingy, when suddenly! YOU WIN. It felt odd really, I didn't feel like I'd deserved it, like maybe the win should've held back until the wave was over. I didn't really get a great feel for the game either, a minute felt like it was over quite quickly, but the game was fun, I wanted to keep playing. I wish that you could move whilst attacking, but otherwise the controls felt slick. I like the variation in the enemies too, and the art was really good. Overall, the game was great, I just dunno why you had to end it all so quickly!

Good game. The idea for protection is very well suited to this topic. Make it a little bigger and it would be better.

Nice art and animations but the fact of not being able to move and attack at the same time makes it really hard and frustrating
