Note

If anyone is wondering why the graphics are very simple looking is because my art skills are pretty bad. If I wanted to draw better sprites, it would take me a while. So instead of spending a lot of time making detailed art, I focused more on simplicity and colours.

Good game, great gameplay, but I would like to make it more dynamic and fast, maybe should add a time scale (x2,x3) button

I love how much content there is! I've already played more than 3/4 hours! Great game! It is a really addictive to pick up piles of souls. My only gripe, is that the 'next wave' button could do with more feedback to the player; for a while, i thought it didn't work. Otherwise well done!

Loved 8-bit style. You can make summon by holding mouse instead of right click

I loved it! Scored 8805, played for much longer than I thought! This is such a nice game with a great feedback loop. The need to manually collect dropped souls before they disappear is very smart, forcing the player to choose between spawning things or getting more resources.

The next wave button is not clear to me. If it is space, well it does not seem to work.

Incredible job for a compo!

Ran on a Mac via Wine. Worked fine.

I love the music and the graphics/audio really works for this game. A bit slow as others have said. But fun.

Hey now this brought me right back to my teenage days playing Tower/Horde defense games for hours on end. Like I almost started doing with this one haha! If only I had the time of those days.

Great concept here and very well executed. There are some bits of roughness around the edges but with a jam-free polish and some more varied content I can see lots of fun being had defending the glory of the dark lord.

Largest Issue I ran into was that I seemed to be killing a number of enemies off screen once I got to around wave 20 or so and I sometimes missing out on their souls? The angels were notorious for it!

Thanks for letting us play!

Definitely my favorite LD 46 game I've played so far. The game feels well paced and there is plenty of content to play for multiple hours

Great defense game! I like the art style and it's consistent. You kept me playing until level 51 hahaha I was hoping for an ending but the game oddly went slower and slower so I really had to stop ^^ full eyebat OP then beholder for the win! Great entry, congrats

Man this is the best I've played so far. My only legitimate complaint is that I can't pause the game. Also yeah off-screen souls suck. But this is amazing dude.

I had to stop after wave 20 because I wanted to play other LD games! Good work! I love the art aesthetic. Good use of color. I wish the souls "popped" more but with your limited palette I think that might be tough. Good job on making this feel like an old PC game. I felt transported, seriously. I was really stressed out about picking up all the souls but I always had more than enough. Later on my minions started killing things off screen and I think. In the end I was having fun and I really wanted a management panel to figure out what the balance of my minion army was! Thanks for letting me play your game!

Good!

I played to level 40 before just letting the game kill me. It's still running and it seems like it's going to take a while. Angels are the last enemy? It would have been cool if there was a boss wave to end the game.

The spacebar didn't work for me. I noticed that it seems like enemies get stuck off screen, so maybe you have it set to not skip a wave if there are still enemies?

Anyway, solid tower defense!

Also, to those complaining about off screen souls: it seems like souls are collected automatically when they disappear.
